No matter what the season, this lovely town home is a wonderful place to stay! Cascade Lake is all around, so if you're a boat owner or love to fish, you'll be close to boat launches where you can shove off onto the water to try your luck at the resident salmon, steelhead, rainbow trout, bass, catfish or perch. The Middle Fork of the Payette River is nearby where you can fly-fish, kayak and raft. Golfers: Osprey Meadows is roughly three miles away and Brundage Mountain is a little farther (about 45 minutes). Boise National Forest is just a few miles to the east.
Hikers can test their stamina on 12 trails of varying difficulty that take you by alpine lakes and hot springs. When the snow flies, skiers and snowboarders have their pick of four resorts within 100 miles. Tamarack is the closest - about 15 minutes to the south. Brundage Mountain is about 45 minutes away, just north of McCall.
