5 BEDROOM, 2.5 BATH INCREDIBLE LOCATION!

This home was designed with entertaining in mind. The upstairs is equipped with an open great room perfect for mingling while cooking, watching tv/movies, enjoying a fire in the wood burning stove or fireplace, playing cards/games and enjoying one another’s company. Enough space is provided for those wanting a more intimate setting as well. The younger guests can enjoy their “freedom” in a room adjacent to the kitchen that provides enough space to play. The kitchen is fully equipped with the items needed to prepare and serve home cooked meals. All upstairs rooms open to the large wrap around deck and allow guests to enjoy the fresh Tahoe air and soak in some views. There is a master suite and another bedroom upstairs with an additional master suite and two more bedrooms downstairs. The driveway provides enough parking for several cars along with a 2 car garage that can be used for one car and storage for all your ski/boating supplies and provides access to an extra refrigerator. There is something for everyone!

About Judi Franich

Our family supervised the building of this home and situated it so that there was room for families and friends to enjoy the most wonderful area at Lake Tahoe which is close to everything while being serene for relaxation and enjoyment!

We have several games for everyone, Tahoe books and a binder of information as well as comments regarding the numerous activities each month of the year!

We have been renting to many of the same tenants since we built this home, and we have an extremely stocked kitchen with up-to-date spices, staples, etc. so you won't have to bring everything with you in order to be able to prepare fine meals! We even hosted a wedding BBQ for our daughter on the lake, using most all of our utensils. We will be happy to speak with you for your special needs and provide whatever we can to assist you!

Why Judi Franich chose Homewood

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. When selecting a lot to build on, we wanted to be close enough to the Lake we could walk but also far enough away from the main highway that our children could play in the front yard without being in danger. In addition we were aware of the problems several people encounter when trying to access their home with icy and/or snowy roads. With three different routes getting to and from the property, we have NEVER had an issue where we were not able to access the home while others have to chain up to get into their residential areas. We are only 1 1/2 blocks from Hwy. 89 which runs around the Lake and 5 minutes from Homewood Mountain Ski Resort! Being so close to the ski resort makes it very easy for everyone to come and go as they please. Other ski resorts including Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley are only a 15-20 minute drive. Northstar and Granlibakken Resort are also nearby.

We continually keep up with items needing attention, and we have a pest company spray for pests every other month so we won't have problems! By the way, we have NOT had problems except for a pesty bat that was professionally relocated into the wild! The walking and bike path are very close to our home, so are encouraged to leave your car home and bike/hike around the lake, through the meadows and follow the path as far the River Ranch, half way to Truckee! In the summer, you can float from Tahoe City to the River Ranch and enjoy the 4th of July with activities on the lake in Tahoe City!
