Located centrally in Los Lagos within Casa de Campo, our family's villa comfortably sleeps eight people with four bedrooms and four full bathrooms; a swimming pool; an aviary; and staff quarters. The villa has an open style architecture with several indoor and outdoor seating areas, as well as indoor and outdoor dining areas.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and en suite bathroom with double sinks & bidet. Spacious bedrooms #2 and #3 have two double beds each with en suite bathrooms, and bidets. Cozy bedroom #4 has two double beds which can be adjoined, a private bathroom, and it opens to an enclosed private patio. All bedrooms have air-conditioning with individual remote controls, ceiling fans, as well as cable television.
About 5 minutes walking distance from the ocean, Los Lagos #100 is located on the first street behind the resort's private beach. Centrally located in the resort, one can easily get around by golf cart.
The staff is the heart of our home and Romy, the head person and cook, has been with our family for over 20 years. She is assisted by two other people, one maid and one houseboy, to help make your stay a relaxing and enjoyable one. Spanish is their first language, but they understand and speak some English as well as Italian and French. Most importantly, they are eager to please you so it is important to communicate your wishes to them.
Our staff provides daily maid service, grounds keeping and pool maintenance, as well as meal preparation and service from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additional hours can be easily arranged for a nominal charge.
Although groceries are not included, Romy is quite competent to shop for you if you provide a list and money (she will give you the receipts) and/or accompany you to market, if you so desire.
We and most guests enjoy Romy's creative menus and we encourage you to experience them. This being said, she is also extremely happy to take direction for any specific meal preparation or requests you may have.
Casa de Campo is considered by many as the Caribbean's most complete resort. 7,000 acres contain four Pete Dye golf courses; tennis courts; polo club and equestrian center; world class shooting center; water sports, beaches and boat excursions; fitness center and spa; and a vibrant Marina with cinemas, restaurants and shops. Altos de Chavon is a replica of a 16th century Mediterranean village in the resort providing a cultural and artistic hub, an Amphitheater for live shows, as well as more restaurants, bars, shops and night clubs. The main area of the hotel has been recently renovated providing more restaurants, shops & activities (see the resort's website for more details).
The resort is a gated community and an admittance and usage fee is required for guests residing in private villas (versus resort operated) upon arrival. The fee is $20 per day per adult and $10 per day per child over 10 years of age payable directly to the resort. Identification cards are issued upon registration to guests allowing access all of the resort's facilities.
