Perfect Setup For Families!!

Our cabin is brand new; never been lived in cabin in the hottest resort in the area. It is is efficiently designed for families, yet cozy enough if there's only two of you! From the layout of the beds to the kitchen table that seats up to 9, plus seating at the kitchen bartop, to the large number of plates & dishes that are furnished. (Just think of how many hotel rooms you'd need for 16 people, plus you'd have to go out for meals!) Yet, the cabin is cozy enough for a small group, too. Our cabin is fully furnished, all you need to do is show up and have fun! You'll save money and hassel of waiting in crowded restaurants you'll save by having a beautiful full kitchen to prepare your meals in! Stainless steel appliances and microwave in kitchen, and full size washer & dryer with soap included. Can sleep 2-16 people comfortably. Vacation with your family/friends and save money while sharing great memories! All new furnishings with king size bed in master, custom full over queen bunk bed in guest room and a full over full bunk bed and a twin over full in the huge loft with a futon up there, also. Pull out queen sofa bed in living room.

Large flat screen tv with cable & DVD player. Very close to the water park with swim up bar and braccos restaurant and trendy island bar with 6 passes included daily! (Since you are our guest, addditional passes are available at a discount.) Large dining table and bar stools accommodate a lot of people for dinner. Walking distance to lake access with boat slips to rent (based on availability). The resort has an exercise facility and kids arcade and large outdoor play structure. This unit was just built and never been lived in, so all mattresses and furnishings are brand new!!

About Shaun Simmer

My husband and I have six children, so it was always hard to find nice accomodations that would comfortably fit all of us. So, we decided to buy a place that would meet our needs. Spacious and new with a lot of activities locally to spend our vacations. The cabins at Bridges Bay met our criteria. All the children love it there and wish they could go there every weekend. With all our activities, we are unable, so we decided to rent it out so others can have fun while we are unable to be there.

We chose Okoboji because we have vacationed there as a family so many times and have had so many fond memories of it. We chose Bridges Bay because of the amenities and the beautiful cabin.

We love sitting on the deck relaxing while the kids are enjoying themselves at the pool, biking or rollerblading around the cabins, swimming in the lake, hiking the miles of trails, or enjoying one of the hundred activities Okoboji has to offer.

You'll have access to ALL the amazing amenities at Bridges Bay Resort without having to stay in their condos!

We are located in the Cabins at Bridges Bay Resort less than five miles from Arnolds Park Amusement Park. The cabin is across the street from the main resort and East Lake Okoboji.

You can bet that we will be back to stay at this cabin in the near future!! It was clean and close to everything! There was enough room for our family plus two other families to sleep comfortably. It was the most fun we've all had in a long time. If you're thinking about renting...stop and just do it; you'll LOVE it here!!

Awesome Vacation Cabin!!! I will rent here time and again!

We had a large group that needed lodging for a weekend retreat. This cabin was perfect! It was clean, comfortable, spacious but yet had a comfortable feel. We loved being able to run over to Bridges Bay to use the hot tub and pool, and the location was close to restaurants and shopping. Shaun (the owner) was really easy to get ahold of whenever I had a question. If we had to rent hotel rooms for all of us it would have been five times more expensive than us all sharing this cabin. The kitchen had every small appliance and utensil you could ever need. We were also able to save money by making most of our meals in the cabin. But, we did eat at Braccos and had a nice meal and great service. The view out the large patio was beautiful and relaxing. I would HIGHLY recommend this (and have recommended) this cabin to anyone looking to get away from it all, large or small group.

Love Bridges Bay Cabin!!

Our first try with VRBO and what a success!! We loved this property and all that came with it!! The cabin was so clean and just the way described in the web site. It had all the comforts of home, our family loved it. The owner was so great to work with. She answered all questions and made the process so easy. We have stayed in this area before and paid the same rate for a single hotel room. I will be choosing this accommodation on our next family trip for sure. The waterpark passes sold our kids!!!

Okoboji Fun in the Sun

We stayed at this home with 5 adults and 10 kids. We had the best stay EVER!! It was roomy and spacious and we couldn't have had a more comfortable stay. The home was new and clean and in a great location. The kids would walk to the water park every night and the lake accessibiliy was so convenient. We were able to put the jet ski in the water just down the street. The landlord was easy to work with and very accommodating. Because of their hospitality, alone, I can honestly say, this was the easiest vacation I've ever planned. I won't stay anywhere else, but here, when I vacation in Boji. Take my word, you will love it, too!!

GREAT PLACE A GET AWAY!!!

On a whim we decided we needed a vacation, so I found this cabin on VRBO, and I am SO glad I did!! It was beautiful and very well furnished. The owner was very accomodating and easy to reach. We had 8 adults in our party and we all slept on very comfortable mattresses. The cabin was impeccibly clean and the kitchen had every utensil and pot you could imagine. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone interested in staying at the Lakes to check out this cabin first!!
