Or hunker down by the fire at the end of a fun day on the slopes.

Our Mountain Chalet is on the property of Alpen Acres Motel. I am one of the owner/managers of Alpen Acres. I am originally from England and moved to the USA several years ago. I am very blessed to live in Blowing Rock right in the Blue Ridge Mountains where Alpen Acres is located. I know you will love it here too!

Why Joanna Coatney chose Blowing Rock

I am one of several owners of Alpen Acres Motel and came on board after the Chalet was purchased. It is a very sweet property and we have made several improvements to it over the years. If I were on vacation in the mountains I would love to stay in our Chalet.

What makes this chalet unique

The great thing about this Chalet is it's location. Firstly, it is located in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and within 2 miles of ski slopes and our quaint little town of Blowing Rock. Second, it is very secluded and private so makes for the perfect couples' getaway.
