This mountain cabin is a great place to get away from it all. If you want comfy, airy, light, in a true Truckee cabin, we think you'll love it. Near skiing, Lake Tahoe, downtown Truckee, Reno, Casinos, yet not in all the bustle of tourists. It is cosy with woodstoves to warm your feet and family, yet spacious with large picturesque windows. One woodstove is wood and there is a pile of dry wood and kindling to get you warm and toasty. The other in the kitchen dinning area is a gas woodstove that gives you a fire by adjusting it's thermostat. The house has forced air too. Perfect for families or

Groups for ski vacation, Room for everyone with small mountain views. I am a business owner, healthcare provider, so you know what you are getting is real. The bedroom set-up is:

Upstairs master California king with sink(sleeps 2)

2nd bedroom upstairs has queen with sink(sleeps 2)

these first two bedrooms share a Jack and Jill shower and toilet.

3rd bedroom 2 twins (sleeps) 2

4th bedroom log pine bunk with full on bottom single on top.

5th bedroom Bunk with full on bottom and single on top and a trundle with private bath. Television

Living Room with a new 55 inch flat screen with DVD Player.

This is my house we like to cook and entertain but go to visit our family in NYC for the holidays. I am a local chiropractor in Truckee, Chrisi my significant other is a local artist that make colourful stuff on wood that she builds, her best sellers right now are her treasure boxes. Then there is Mac a our 10 moth old lab, border collie, jack russel. We all love to ski, snowboard, hike and mountain bike

Close walk to cross county skiing and snowshoeing 100 yards, Close to Old town Truckee 2 miles, close to ski resorts yet in a quite neighborhood. We have sleds also. Very Sunny, called the Banana belt of Truckee, this is a relative statement of course because Truckee gets snow

One of the Most Beautiful Places in the world. If you like outdoors and the mountains this is the place. The house is in a great location close to all ski areas , downtown Truckee, interstate 80. Yet nestled away in a quite neighbourhood, There is a huge meadow and an the Old Greenwood 18 hole golf course that is great to cross country ski and snowshoe on because it is flat with gentle hills. The neighbourhood has flat sunny exposure so between storms you can walk or bike if you like, there are few cars. Because of it's Flatness and sun exposure many young families come here to walk and push strollers
