2 Bedroom, 2 Bath, Full Kitchen With Fireplace Overlooking Swan Lake

Are you looking for a getaway filled with fishing, hiking, biking, swimming, shopping, snowmobiling, skiing or just simply a little peace and quiet? Our walk-out lower level of our home will accommodate the couple looking for just about anything. We offer a master bedroom, queen bed, with an en suite bath and large closet. There is a full kitchen with all of the needed accessories and a dining room table. We also have a gas grill for your use. The knotty pine living room is equipped with a 27' flat-screen TV, DVD, recliner, reclining sofa and loveseat, and a gas fireplace for those chilly evenings. The walk-out deck opens up to a beautiful view of Swan Lake, a 2400 acre lake great for fishing, swimming and loads of fun! A 9 hole golf course a mile from the cabin. Like to bike? Get on the Mesabi Bike Trail just 2 miles from the rental. We are also close to cross-country ski trails as well as snowmobile trails!!

We are approximately 15 miles west of Hibbing, MN and 20 miles east of Grand Rapids, MN. Pengilly offers a tavern with great food, a small resort known for their Friday night fish fry and a gas/grocery station. There are great restaurants in Hibbing and Grand Rapids as well.

Very nice place, gorgeous view, clean, comfortable and cozy! Great for a quiet weekend getaway.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Romantic Getaway

Our Weekend Getaway

My wife and I arrived on May 10th., 2013. We were greeted by the owners, Mike and Cindy. We walked around the outside of the home and the grounds. Everything looked like it had been built and landscaped the day before we arrived. ( Mike and Cindy also helped us carry our luggage into our walkout area).

The inside of the home looked the same as the outside, as if it were built the day before we arrived. Everything was in order. Mike explained the working of the boiler, the kitchen appliances and the TV's. The two bedrooms are very spacious with attached bathrooms. EVERYTHING at the property is Meticulous. All glasses, cups, silverware, knives, pots and pans, sheets and bedding, etc. are provided.

Mike and Cindy helped direct us to the various restaurants (Wizards was our favorite) and other stores in the area, They also helped us with directions to the various churches of our faith.

I would recommend this property to anyone. It is extremely clean, has a beautiful view of Swan Lake (about 100 feet from the walkout doors) and the quietness of the area.
