A Beautifully Decorated, Light, Spacious And Quiet Apartment

A spacious and quiet one bedroomed apartment in a central location (zone 1) with views over the London skyline.

The apartment sleeps 4 people with a large double bedroom with a king size bed and 2 single sleeper sofas in the living area. Flat screen digital TV's are in the living room and bedroom. Wifi/ broadband internet access included.

The apartment is tastefully and stylishly decorated, has a large terrace, is fully equipped with all mod cons and is conveniently located for all transport links (Central London is a short walk away or three stops away on the underground).

Kennington is a beautiful, quiet and quaint area of London located only 1.5 miles (2km) from central London, so getting in to town is simple and quick with numerous transport links on your doorstep. Kennington Lane has lovely cafes, pubs and restaurants so it is easy to eat and drink in the area and there is also a major supermarket up the road for your food shopping.

Kennington tube station is a 5 minute walk from the apartment.

The Imperial War museum is a 5 minute walk away and the river Thames around a 10 minute walk away.

The Southbank Centre with its numerous theatres, shops, restaurants and cinemas is a 15-20 minute walk or a quick bus or tube ride.

You can easily walk to the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye which is 1.2 km away and takes around 15 minutes)

This apartment is the perfect home away from home. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, quiet, and close to everything one could need. We slept well. Ate well. And lived well our entire stay. I highly recommend this flat. In fact, I will definitely try to rent this place again in my future travels.

Fantastic apartment !

We arrived to a spotless , modern apartment with good facilities , where we speant a wonderful two weeks .
Living in the countryside we were concerned about the noise , however , we had nothing to worry about it was surprisingly quiet for a city .
We were 10mins walk from the tube which got us into central London in around
10-20 mins . Shops were in walking distance to buy groceries .
We would highly recommend this apartment

Convenient location, amazing flat

I would highly recommend this flat to anyone looking to stay in a convenient location in central London. The flat was exactly as described (......if not better): as it can be seen from the pictures it is new, with an amazing décor and a stunning view on the London Eye.
Moreover the flat was extremely functional: all the necessary goods were there (even shoe polish!!! :) )

I visited the property with my parents and my sister that live abroad and they also thoroughly enjoyed their stay. As I said previously, the location is absolutely perfect: the apartment is very close to Kennington tube station, on the Northern line. From there it is very convenient to reach the popular tourist attaction that London has to offer.

I take this opportunity to thank Paul for the hospitality!

Stunning Flat - Fantastic Stay in London

I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who would appreciate a convenient and central London location. Waterloo and the Southbank - where the London Eye and National Theatre are situated - are literally a 12 minute walk from this apartment. When we arrived, the apartment was spotlessly clean and we found it to be quiet, spacious, fully equipped and immaculately decorated, What is particularly unusual and a treat for an apartment in central London is its beautiful terrace – with views over London towards the London Eye. You can even hear Big Ben chiming! We will definitely return to this apartment on our next visit to London and I would strongly suggest it to anyone considering a rental in London. It’s a real find.

Clean, comfortable, convenient

The listing description and photos were accurate, the apartment comes well-furnished and equipped, and everything was clean and in very good condition (the apartment is newly renovated/decorated).

We were comfortable with two adults and a toddler, with lots of room for everyone. The location was quite family-friendly: the neighbouring estate had a lovely play yard that was open to us, and nearby Kennington and Archbishop Parks were excellent (and deservedly-popular with local families/daycares). We were very well-served by the nearby services: the large Tesco grocery store, transport links, pubs, etc. Note that it is also considerably easier to get around the neighbourhood than a view on a map would suggest, as most of the estates had lanes/mews/courts (well-lit and secure-feeling) that allow you to cut through from one block to the next more directly than the street alignments would otherwise allow.

Customer service was very good: whilst inquiring/arranging the booking, Paul provided fast and helpful responses to our questions by email, which gave us a good feeling about him right away, he went out of his way to try to accommodate us with an earlier arrival time, and he met us at the apartment for check-in.

We have already shared the listing with friends, and we will check the apartment's availability if we ever have business in South London again.
