Imagine what you would enjoy in a rental condo that would make you feel at home. Our spacious 1350 square ft duplex condo with ten-foot ceilings is just that – our own vacation home away from home for several months each year, comfortable, well supplied and well maintained. It is directly across from a talcum powdered white sandy beach – no need to move your car from the garage. It is popularly used for walking, running, playing volleyball, kite flying or just collecting beautiful shells and relaxing. It was voted the #1 Beach in the USA in 2011 by the acclaimed Dr Beach. There are lifeguards available all year. Every Sunday night there are drummers who say good-by to the sunset. It is a fun, family event. There is always lots of space to spread out, and a concession stand and bathrooms are available.
We are situated among beautifully maintained gardens and a lake that has migratory ducks and birds. There are also two tennis courts and a large heated pool with lounge chairs and a covered gazebo with a gas grill for your use. The grounds have recently been upgraded with beautiful palms, sea grass, abundant flowers and mature plants. It looks like Paradise.
The master bedroom has a sunny southern exposure that faces the lake. The sliding doors open to a welcoming balcony. The bedroom has a king sized bed with rattan styled furniture. The newly renovated master bathroom and dressing room is spacious with beautiful tiles, vanity desk and glass enclosed shower that is so inviting after a day at the beach. There are ample closets and shelves for all your resort wear and a large TV.
The Living Room has a casual yet elegant feel of a Key West resort because of the couch and loveseat of honey amber chenille with wooden accents. There are lovely glass tables with matching lamps. Enjoy the large flat screen TV, CD, radio and DVD. Enjoy watching your favorite shows whenever you like because of the DVR feature. The straw baskets and flowers add to the flavor. The Living Room also faces the lake and the balcony has two tables and six chairs for your enjoyment.
When you are ready to eat enjoy the rectangular glass topped dining room table and six chairs, contemporary with cherry wood and leather seats. Or dine more casually in the eat in kitchen with its rattan styled table with glass top and seats covered with French Provence covered seats.
The kitchen has any appliance that you would need since it our home also. There is beautiful crown molding on the ceiling that has been recently raised. There is a desk that’s perfect for your laptop especially since we have wireless DSL Internet. There is an aqua colored fiesta ware set to make you feel as if you were in the tropics. There are sliding doors that face mature trees and palms and it is a beautiful way to start or end your day.
The guest bedroom has seashell comforters, a large closet, and a TV, with rattan furniture. A beautiful newly renovated guest bathroom has a tub with glass doors so you can bathe or shower.
We have a spacious garage full of anything that you would need to enjoy the beach- chairs, bogey boards, floats etc. It is a good way to keep your car clean and cool. You can safely keep bikes there.
Siesta Key village is a scenic one mile walk away, and it reminds us of Margaretville, very casual and full of stores and restaurants and bars. Downtown Sarasota is a short drive and there are so many things to do. It is full of culture with museums, theaters, dance performances, craft shows, libraries, botanical gardens and opera, and ample parking is available. If golf is your passion there are over 40 courses available. There are all kinds of quality cuisines available in friendly restaurants. The stores are unique and offer a variety of shopping opportunities.
