Secluded 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Log Cabin With The Lake Just Steps Away!

This property is secluded, quiet and peaceful yet close to Rough River Dam State Resort Park's many amenities. Sleeps 6 comfortably with 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, open kitchen/living area with floor to ceiling windows and a fireplace. The large Master Bedroom is located upstairs with a queen size bed, sitting area and walk in closet. The Master Bath connected to the Master Bedroom has a walk-in tile shower. Two bedrooms located on the main floor are cozy and relaxing, full size bed in one and bunk beds in the other. Kitchen/Living area, Laundry room and full bath complete the main floor.

View the state park marina from the huge deck or walk down to the water and watch the boats as they come in to the marina. Boat rentals are available at the state park marina or bring your own, their is plenty of room to park it. Rough River Lake is a great lake for swimming, fishing, tubing and skiing!

Minutes from Rough River Dam State Resort Park which offers golfing, hiking, tennis, dining and a sandy beach for swimming. Within 15 minutes of the Pine Knob Outdoor Theatre which offers a variety of live theatre productions featuring the history and folklore of the area. Historic Green Farm and the Falls Rough River are only 1.5 miles away.

The cabin is exactly as described. It is very nice, clean, and cozy. Everything you need as far as utensils in the kitchen is readily available. The park and boat ramp is right around the corner also which made it very convenient for fishing. It was just an awesome weekend.

We stayed there for five nights and had a wonderful time, beautiful view of the river. We had a minor bug issue but the owner helped take care of what he could. What can you expect? It is a genuine log cabin. The drive to town was a bit long, but we went to get away for a little while, and it was the perfect place for that!
