The Quinta is located on a 10 000 sqm private garden property (surrounded by walls). One can see the coast from the terraces, where the picturesque village Lagos and the lighthouse 'des Capos St. Vincente' are located. Here, in Monchique, guests are always welcome, and you can relax in this beautiful atmosphere. The rich nature with an absolutely intact eco system, fantastic sceneries and the healthiest climate in Europe will ensure a relaxing vacation experience. Via rental car, you can reach the warm beaches of the southern coast around Portimao Alvor. Also well worth a visit is Lagos with its impressive harbour and historic inner city. Especially interesting is the western coast with wild and impressive cliffs and beaches (nature conservation area). These are recommended for surfers because of the steady waves.

Nearest Airport: Faro at 80 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 20.0 Kilometres
Car: recommended
Monchique is the closest city and is about 4km away from the villa. After only about 20 min. walking time you can reach one of the oldest health resorts of the Iberian island 'Caldas de Monchique'. On the backside of the villa, you will find a typical Algarve garden with terraces and various subtropical plants, fruit trees and beautiful cactus. The pool area and the pond are in front of the villa. The pool house does not only offer shaded areas, but also includes a BBQ area. We run our pool with salt water to minimize the use of chemicals. Underneath the pool area you can reach the garden, which includes a natural spring with delicious fresh water.

Notes: There are plenty of toys available, which can be used upon prior arrangement. The pool is checked and cleaned at least twice a week. The automatic sprinkler system in the garden ensures blooming flowers almost at all times.
