Happy New Year in South Beach

We stayed in this 3 BR condo at the Flamingo in South Beach between Christmas and Jan 5th of this year. Overall, we were very happy with the experience. Mike and Ben were very easy to work with and very accessible. They made sure we enjoyed our stay and found the apartment to our satisfaction. The condo was large, well kept and clean. The furnishings were very nice and modern, without clutter which we liked. Plenty of towels and linens. The pool was exceptionally nice having recently been renovated. Really big and heated sufficiently for this time of year. The other pool is currently being renovated so should be ready in 2013 (and will have a hot tub!). The condo is close to Lincoln Mall Road (easily walkable). They are on the bay side but we could walk to the beach side without any trouble. There are very nice restaurants and fast food places within easy walking distance. There is a parking garage attached to the condo complex should you rent a car (we did). There is also a cab line outside the condo so you could grab a cab easily if you needed to. It was a very quiet condo (surprisingly even on New Year's Eve!). The view is amazing and during New Year's Eve, we were able to see 4-6 different fireworks with the 270 degree view from the balcony on the 24th floor. The kitchen is modern and large with sufficient amount of cookware, dishes and cutlery to eat in if you should choose. We had children with us so we definitely appreciated not having to eat out every meal. Great light from all the windows and the weather during this time of year was great. Mike and Ben were very accommodating and are nice guys and made our experience very memorable by providing us a nice place in which to stay during our winter break. We would not hesitate to recommend their condo and plan on renting from them again when we come back to Miami. We are frequent travelers and rent condos/apts often so we know what we are talking about when we say we would be happy to stay here again! Thanks Mike & Ben!
