Situated On Sidewinder Golf Course Hole #5 Green

Newly furnished and freshly painted town home located at the base of dinosaur mountain, just east of mesa in gold canyon AZ, is a great place for a golf getaway or a family vacation. Beautiful panoramic views of the superstition mountains are just out the front door.

Located in a quiet gated community away from the busy cities and traffic, this one story ground level home is situated just off the 5th green of sidewinder golf course, one of the two gold canyon resort courses. It is approximately 22 minutes from mesa gateway airport and 45 minutes from phoenix sky harbor airport.

This vacation home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The floor plan is open and very spacious feeling with 11 foot walls. It has a master suite with a king bed, double vanities, soaking tub, and walk in shower. There is also a second bedroom with a queen bed and a third bedroom with a full bed. The back patio faces out to the golf course. Some of the amenities include: free cable TV and wifi internet; gas grill and patio furniture to enjoy meals outside; fully equipped kitchen; dining area; laundry room; 2 car garage; option to rent golf cart. Bath and pool towels and linens are all provided.

While you’re here, enjoy the heated community pool and spa, community clubhouse, and fitness room located within a very short walking distance of the home. Or as an option you can rent our golf cart and ride to the pool or tour the surrounding area.

Local shops including a grocery store, drug store, restaurants and coffee shops are less than 5 minutes away. Major shopping is only 15 minutes away in mesa. Medical facilities are less than 10 minutes away. Phoenix, mesa, Scottsdale and tempe are all less than 45 minutes from gold canyon, making it a great oasis from which to enjoy the greater phoenix area.

Gold canyon is the home of the #1 rated public golf course in Arizona, dinosaur mountain. There are numerous other local golf courses to challenge you as well and plenty of family activities nearby. When you’re not on the golf course or relaxing at the pool, enjoy great hiking trails in the adjacent superstition mountain wilderness area, 4 wheeling, or any number of outdoor activities.

We are from Montana and we love to be warm when its cold and we both love to golf. So when the weather turns cold and the snow starts to fly, we head south for some fun in the sun.

We searched high and low in the Phoenix area for a property and nothing seemed to get our attention until by chance found the Gold Canyon area. This property is located on the Sidewinder Golf Course and is a short distance away from several others. It offers fantastic views of Dinosaur Mountain and the Superstition Mountains. It is very quiet and peaceful. The wildlife is abundant. You can sit on the patio and watch the golfers by day or stars by night.

What makes this townhome unique

This property is secluded but yet close to dining and shopping. It has awesome views. Whether you love to golf, just want to get away or are looking for a family vacation this property is for you!

This property was as described and after settling in, the description could be expanded since the setting was ideal, the home was emaculate, well maintained and very well furnished. In fact, we couldn't have asked for a better property or location. Pat was very honest, informative and very reponsive to our questions before and during our stay there. We enjoyed every minute and as a matter of fact we are very hopeful that we can rent this property next year when we return in 2014. It is absolutely perfect!

Stunning views, top notch accommodations

A few friends and I go on an annual golf trip and visit a new state each year, so we've used vrbo several times. Simply put, this is by far the best trip we've had. First, the town home has no "rental feel" at all, it feels like being at your own vacation home. The accommodations are matched only by the ridiculous views - Dinosaur Mountain in the front and beautiful Sidewinder golf course off the back patio. We played three of the surrounding courses and they were all first class. It was great to be able to take a quick golf cart ride to the pool, hot tub, or even the Gold Canyon clubhouse for brunch. I can't recommend this place highly enough - Pat and Kara were easy to work with, what a great experience!

Pat and Kara have taken the time to make this beautiful townhome the perfect place to stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. Exceptionally clean and fully furnished, there was plenty of room for our family of five and has all the amenities you could want or need. It's so quiet and peaceful too. I can't imagine finding anybody easier to work with and I would recommend this place to anybody. We would love to stay here again should the opportunity arise.

A golfers paradise stay!

Excellent view, comfortable, clean, well furnished, felt like we were in our own home! A golfers dream, many courses in the immediate area to choose from! We ate breakfast at Gold Canyon Resort several mornings which owns Sidewinder and Dinosaur Mountain golf courses, and there are other good restaurants less than 5 minutes away as well. Bed was so comfortable that we didn't want to get up in the mornings! Will definately go back!!!!!

Can I just move in?!?

I am one of Pam's children that stayed in the condo over Christmas and I must tell you I have never and I mean never stayed in a place that was more perfect than this! There is not one thing more that you will need when staying here! My husband and I cannot wait to find time to stay there again!
