Dun Mhorain holiday home is the perfect place to enjoy a self catering experience of a lifetime. This newly constructed property sits proudly overlooking the Atlantic Sea. The house is surrounded by gardens and a patio area on which to relax and take in the incredible views of the countryside and sea. The nearby ocean is only a short two minute walk from your back door. There are many walks along the coastline to enjoy and stretch the legs. On your walk make sure to stop by and enjoy the the local pub only 10 minutes away or enjoy dinner at the local restaurant 15 minutes walk away from the home. Find out why National Geographic Explorer voted the Dingle Peninsula THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE ON EARTH!!
This newer home is finished to a very high standard with three separate bedrooms (with the possibility of two more bedrooms at an additional cost). All bedrooms are en-suite. The kitchen and dining area are very spacious and is equipped with all the modern conveniences.
There is a downstairs sitting room with TV/DVD and a separate sitting room upstairs with pool table and large windows that open up and overlook the sea and countryside. With all this home has to offer and the beautiful town of Dingle only a short scenic 8 miles away makes this a perfect location for your Irish vacation.
What a fabulous, unforgettable trip to Dingle thanks to this outstanding home! Our stay was from Sept. 28th until Oct. 4th. The weather was great (sunny and in the 70s until toward the end of our trip; the temperature dropped into the 50s).
This home should be in a House and Garden magazine—so beautiful—so well-built! It was EXACTLY as it is described on the VRBO site: fully equipped kitchen, plenty of hot water for showers, very comfortable beds, two televisions, spectacular views of the ocean and mountains, etc. The manager of the home couldn't have been nicer and immediately responded to any question we had. We would highly recommend this home to all our family and friends.
We enjoyed some great seafood restaurants close by: “Out of the Blue” and “TP’s.” "Murphy's Homemade Ice Cream" is a real treat too! The town of Dingle is so much fun! We took a beautiful drive around the Dingle peninsula too. Truly amazing!
The Irish people we met were so wonderful too. They will do anything for you!
We are all ready to return to Dingle as soon as possible. When does the next plane leave?

We absolutely loved our trip to the Dingle Area. The house was perfect - clean and well situated with stunning views. We traveled with 8 people and had plenty of room. The owner was responsive and the caretakers were very helpful and congenial - even offering to dig us up some Irish potatoes from the garden!
We spent a week at the house in July 2014. We had a group of 6 adults, 4 teenagers, and a child. The house was perfect for us. The views were breathtaking! The location and proximity to downtown Dingle were very convenient. The house has all the amenities we needed including a washer & dryer. Having spent a week in Europe prior to our arrival, that was a lifesaver. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this beautiful rental property.
We stayed in this wonderful home for a week. There were 9 of us and the house had plenty of room to spread out. The views were amazing and the house suited us very well. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive and Kathy, the caretaker, was wonderful. We had a fabulous week and loved every minute of our time on the Dingle peninsula.
We arrived later in the evening than planned, however the owners arranged for the house to be open and aired out for our arrival. It was warm, welcoming and CLEAN (I am a fanatic). The family that was our contact in the village was very friendly and helpful and helped us get settled in right away. They checked on our needs daily and made sure we were absolutely comfortable.
We loved everything about the house: spectacular view, very near hiking trails, little beach, peace and quiet. The kitchen and dining are inside on the lower floor, as well as a set of bedrooms and bathrooms. Upstairs are the two bedrooms and the game room. We were noting with my husband that this set up would easily allow for 2 families to enjoy their vacation in complete privacy. Every bedroom had it's own bathroom.
The views from every room in the house across the water are breathtaking! Morning and evening we would sit outside of the kitchen with a coffee or wine and just watch the scenery change as the sunlight moved across the area (which was very late as the sun in the summer does not go down in Ireland till pass 10pm :)) and our 3 girls would run around in the grass and goof off.
They're many trails to wander and explore on. We enjoyed walking along the paths. The cliff walk behind the house was our favorite trail all the way up to ruins at the top of the hill.
The house was close to Dingle, which had a great store, fantastic pubs, neat shops and so much more... Loved the food!!!
We will definitely return to visit and recommend to anyone!
This was our 3rd stay at Dun Mohrain in three years and have yet to be disappointed. The furnishings, the linens and the kitchen equipment are all 1st class. Kathy and Sean are nearby and are a great source for local information. The bag of peat Sean supplied was wonderful for the few chilly mornings!
We hope to return to this beautiful place next year.
