THE GRANDE ISLE TOWERS are located on Prosperity Point, a separate gated island within Burnt Store Marina. Entering Grande Isle III, Unit 205, your first sight is the wide view facing west through the living room’s wall of floor to ceiling windows. A sliding door leads to a large lanai with two sitting areas and an astronomical telescope. There you overlook the canal linking the marina’s north and south basins, a mangrove barrier island, and Charlotte Harbor.
THE SPACIOUS LIVING AREA features a large open-concept living room/dining area/kitchen. An oversized Natuzzi leather sectional couch, two fully-reclining lounge chairs and an occasional chair provide comfortable seating for you and many guests. In the living room cabinet is your HD television with premium cable and wireless internet service. The dining area features a square table with four chairs (two more can be added to seat 6). An additional fold-up dining table can expand for further seating. Facing the kitchen is a high granite-topped bar with four leather bar stools. The fully-equipped kitchen features granite counters, stainless steel appliances, cherry-wood cabinets and plenty of pantry space. A second bar/liquor cabinet area has a bar fridge and sink.
THE MASTER SUITE (Bedroom #1) faces west and northwest with views over a mangrove island and Charlotte Harbor and sliders to the lanai. The suite includes a bathroom with deep tub and separate shower, a fully-mirrored granite counter with two sinks, walk-in closet and linen closet. BEDROOM #2 has a queen bedroom suite and walk-in closet. Its windows face east and are fitted with plantation shutters . BEDROOM#3 is furnished as a den/TV room with a queen-sized pull-out sofa and occasional chairs. The windowed wall and door off the hall are fitted with plantation shutters that can be closed for privacy. A full bath and laundry room are in the hallway adjacent to Bedroom #2. Hotel-style white towels and linens are in all bedrooms and bathrooms.
ACCESS TO ALL FLOORS is via north and south elevators. In addition stairs link all floors to outside exit doors for fire safety. Outside halls and the ground-floor indoor garage are clean and well-lit.
THE AMENITIES BUILDING is one floor up from ground level. The elegant social room has sofas, bar area with stools, tables and chairs, television, pool table and grand piano; a catering kitchen; 16-seat theater with Direct TV, including NFL package. Marble floors are throughout the amenities foyers, which also include granite countered men's and women's bathrooms. The lower lobby entrance way is reached via an elevator or the curved open grill-work staircase under a magnificent chandelier. Adjacent is a fully-equipped fitness center with sauna and steam rooms and separate ladies and men’s locker rooms. Along the hallway is a library with seating and desk.
THE SPACIOUS POOL DECK in front of the amenities building features a swimming pool with markings for lap swimming, a hot tub, comfortable lounges and umbrella-tables, a barbecue area with gas-fired Viking grills, fountains, and an outdoor tranquility garden with benches. Men's and women's bathrooms are in the hallway leading from the pool. A stairway off the pool deck leads down to a pleasant walking path along the canal between the north and south marina basins and around Prosperity Point island. There are benches, great fishing locations, and plantings identified botanically.
AN INDOOR PARKING GARAGE is located behind the ground-level entrances. One parking spot is for your use and additional parking is available outside. in the garage are disposal bins for recycling, bike racks, carts for luggage and bringing groceries to your unit, and a dry-cleaning closet (The Greener Cleaner picks up and delivers twice weekly). An exit from the garage leads directly onto the walking path alongside the canal. Mail boxes are in the center of the building at the main entrance and newspapers including the monthly BSM Beacon are delivered there. A call box is located outside the main gate of Grande Isle III for guest announcement. In the outside parking lot is a car wash station.
WITHIN BURNT STORE MARINA are walking and biking routes, boat and kayak access docks, full marina facilities, a tennis and fitness center, restaurant, and ship’s store. Just outside the marina is the Burnt Store Golf Club and Restaurant.

We're New Yorkers, one of us a Canadian, and we discovered Burnt Store Marina in 2004. We bought our Grande Isle, Burnt Store Marina condo a year later and spent as much time as we could here before making it our permanent home in 2009.
Burnt Store Marina provides a total lifestyle for the golfer, tennis player, boater and fisherman located on protected Charlotte Harbor, a harbor second in size only to Tampa Bay along the west coast, with unparalleled ease of access to the Gulf of Mexico.
