This modern second floor apartment is located in the small seaside town of Alen Mak which adjoins the southern end of Golden Sands. Alen Mak has the advantage of being a real town rather than a resort like Golden Sands, Albena and Sunny Beach. The community consists of a mixture of local and international residents. This means that even if you visit out of season, you wont find a deserted, closed resort but a home away from home. The apartment has two bedrooms, a bathroom and a main living area which includes the kitchen and dining area. The apartment has air conditioning in the bedrooms and kitchen/lounge. The air conditioning doubles as heating if you want to visit in the winter. Facilities include a large pool , a Jacuzzi, sauna and a gym. It is a small gated development, which makes it a more relaxed and comfortable place to visit. Furnished to a very high spec, this apartment features a DVD, flat screen TV, music centre and all mod cons. Facilities for outside dining Inc.

The apartment building is positioned on higher ground to fully appreciate the fantastic unspoiled coastal views and to ensure your peace and quiet. It is the perfect location to appreciate the very best that Bulgaria's warm climate can bring. Not just sunshine and beautiful beaches within walking distance, but gourmet food and wine, golf, opera, spas and museums all less than half an hour away. The beach at Alen Mak is a long stretch of golden sand lined with restaurants and bars. The beach is a local secret and therefore much less crowded that Golden Sands in the next bay. If you want to join in the action, the well known resort of Golden Sands is only five-minutes away by car, 15-20 minutes walk. It offers a full range of tourist facilities including high quality international restaurants, casinos and night clubs. The cosmopolitan town of Varna is a short car journey or bus ride away. The town of Varna is 15 min drive away and provides shopping and cultural experiences.

the apartment in Varna was first class, clean good facilities, well maintained, the manager was upstairs apartment if we needed anything, and they were most helpful. The owner gave good customer service, Rachel contact me immediately by phone as soon as I booked on line. There is a loveley Turkish restaurant just down the road, turn right on way to golden sands all lit up on the right. Very friendly and food was excellant. Also Golden sands is an excellant place to go to at night and in the day, plenty of things going on, and lots of places to eat.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Summer holiday - just lovely

I stayed with my girlfriend at the lighthouse apartments and was extremely impressed at how modern, clean and well equipped the apartment was.
We spent long evenings eating on the oversized balconies and days sunbathing. The pool area is intimate with good qulaity sunloungers and eating areas.
The walk to the beach took about 10 minutes with shops, restaurants and market stalls along the way.
I coulnt ask for anything more from a holiday apartment.

The Lighthouse Apartments -Alen Mak

We stayed in the apartment in July 2009 and had an excellent family holiday. The apartment was furnished to a very high standard and was clean and very well maintained. The sea view from our veranda was excellent and as it was over 30c every day the ability to chill out in the air conditioning was very much appreciated.

The children loved the pool and if a change was required the beach was only a 15 minute walk away. There were more than enough shops and restuarants nearby and compared to the U.K and the Eurozone the cost of eating out was very attractive. The seadraogn on the beach at Alen Mak was our favourite restaurant.

Overall, I would rate our holiday very highly and having Keith and Joyce on hand to assist with any questions we had was a big bonus. I would strongly recommend this apartment whether you are a family or not. There is nightlife close by in Golden Sands and the water park is an option if you get bored of the beach and pool.

We will definitely be returning!
