About Pat Toner

We came here for our summer vacation, fell in love with the Smokies, so we decided to buy a second home and possibly retire here.

Pat Toner purchased this cabin in 2012

Why Pat Toner chose Gatlinburg

The mountain view and the easy access to the spur. You don't have to go way up the mountain, and you feel like your the only cabin on the mountain. It is so easy getting in and out, and is easy on your vehicle. There is nothing about this cabin that we don't love. The best word to describe this place is easy and beautiful.

What makes this cabin unique

The views, the wildlife and the serenity. If you come once, you will come back.

25th Anniversary weekend

  • 5 of 5
Cabin was perfect place to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Enjoyed the peacefulness of the deck. Secluded but close to everything. Just what we needed for a weekend without kid and other interruptions. Owner was very helpful. Check to make sure that everything was ok, which it was. Very clean!

FAR MORE THEN I EXPECTED!!

  • 5 of 5
I had to choose between 7 others cabins and this one, boy am I glad I did. Thi cabin was very nice. It was tucked away on the mountain side. The cabin was clean and well kept. The masterbed was nice and comfy and we did not have any gripes about that. We didnt relaize how close we were to dtown Gatlinburg until the next day. Its is like mile from the cabin. There are plenty of things to do close to the area and everything is relatively close to the cabin. This is a great cabin for the money and I highly recommend it. Pat great idea with the cabin log book on the inside, this gave us some insight on what to do in the area from other past guests.

What a view!

  • 5 of 5
Our young family stayed in the cabin for two nights in July. It was clean, comfortable, and the view just couldn't be any more beautiful - sitting in the rocking chairs on the balcony overlooking the mountains was definitely our favorite part of being at the cabin. The pictures truly don't do the home or view justice - everything was lovelier than we expected. Our kids loved the board games, the extensive cable channels were nice in the evenings, and the hot tub was so relaxing. The location is perfect - just a short drive into town and the entrance to the national park, where we hiked and visited Cades Cove.
Pat was very easy to work with and we couldn't have asked for a nicer stay. Thanks for having us!

Wonderful Cabin!!

  • 5 of 5
We LOVED our stay at the cabin!! It was nice to be close to Gatlinburg yet far enough away to enjoy nature and the awesome view of Mt. Laconte. The view from the deck is INCREDIBLE. The pictures do not do it justice. We loved sitting in the rocking chairs or in the hot tub relaxing after a day of hiking. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends/family!!! Thank you Pat for letting us enjoy your cabin and being so helpful!!

Owner's Response: Hello Sandra,
Thank you for your kind words and for staying at our cabin. Your suggestions were very helpful. Keeping me updated with what is going on at the cabin, helps me stay on top of things. As I like to say, "your experience is also my experience", my family stays here several times a year. I will be updating the photos soon. Those pics have not been updated since I bought the cabin in 2012. We always encourage return renters, our cabin can also be your cabin. Come on back, we will welcome you with open arms. See you next time.

Great Cabin!

  • 5 of 5
My husband and I were very pleased with this cabin. The view and the porch were great! The property was well maintained and had everything we needed. It is also very close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge so traveling to either destination was convenient.

First time to the Smokies...great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5
Great location, easy access to Gatlinburg but when you're there you feel like you're away from it all. Our kids had a great time playing around the cabin, and hanging out by the fireplace. The cabin had everything we needed. Unfortunately didn't see any bears, but it was very early in the season. Pat was very easy to work with and very responsive. We'll definitively be back.
