Welcome to the Black Forest – In our familiar house with the advantage of a very quiet location away from transit traffic, directly at the forest. Enjoy your holiday in our cosy holiday apartment in a non-smoking house, make use of the vast game and grill facilities and the sunbathing lawn and relax with our health services (acupuncture, light therapy, sauna). We will be happy to advise you about the multiple free time and athletic offers of the area. On demand you will get instruction to Nordic Walking (instructor in the house), as well as hiking advice, cards and so on. In winter the region of the Feldberg offers perfect skiing conditions for the entire family, alpine and cross-country skiing. We are looking forward to your stay with us! The Thissen family.

Amidst impressive lakes -Titisee, Schluchsee, Feldsee, Windgfaellweiher - rises the Feldberg, with its altitude of 1493 m the highest mountain of the Black Forest. Here Germanys largest national park is located with its pure air, the calm, the varied landscape with wooded hills, romantic valleys and peaks with spectacular views. In winter the Feldberg is a worthwhile destination with cross-country ski runs totalling 60 km, 25 km of slopes for beginners and professionals and 12 ski-lifts. Our house 'Sonnwaerts' is located in Feldberg-Falkau. It makes a great origin for your experience of nature, close to the edge of the forest, with hiking trails or cross-country ski runs nearby. You could make one-day-trips to Freiburg, to Switzerland, Lake Constance or the Alsace or visit one of the leisure parks in the area, e.g. Europapark Rust. During your stay you may use public transport (bus and train) free of charge!

Ski: Skiing has a long tradition at the Feldberg: An entry of a skier from 1891 can be found in the guestbook. The ski-resort Feldberg is one of the resorts with the highest snow certainties of the European low mountain range. Additionally there are snow canons. The lift association Feldberg includes 28 lifts that can be used with one single lift card. With the ski-pass you can use the ski-bus (bus stops approximately a 3 minute walk from the house Sonnwärts) for free or park for free on the Feldberg, at the valley station of the 6-chair lift. The drag lift in Altglashütten that can be reached within a 3 minute drive is well suited for families. There are cross-country ski runs totalling 60 km at your disposal. The nearest entry to the run is directly behind the house.

Wir hatten eine sehr angenehme und schöne Zeit im Haus Sonnenbühl ! Das Haus ist groB und auch für Kinder sehr geeignet ! Die Kinder können drauBen spielen. Man muB nicht auf Auto's oder Verkehr achten. Der Schaukel und Sandkasten haben unseren Kindern sehr viel SpaB gemacht. Man kann direkt vom Garten ins Wald laufen und spielen. Wir haben auch zusammen Grill gemacht und lange zusammen beim Feuer gesessen. Unsere Tochter hatte einen wunderschönen fünften Geburtstag! Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war auch toll, daB wir so leicht den Zug nehmen konnten. Feldberg is wunderschön zum Wandern und Fahrrad fahren.

Haus Sonnwärts Sommerurlaub

Wir, 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder, verbrachten im Juli 2008 eine Woche im Haus Sonnwärts in einer Ferienwohnung.
Die Wohnung war gemütlich eingerichtet, sauber und ordentlich, eben zum wohlfühlen.
Die Lage des Hauses ist ruhig und am Wald gelegen.
Der Bahnsteig des Ortes ist wenige hundert Meter erntfernt - Verbindung nach Freiburg eine Stunde.
Supermarkt mit dem Auto 5 min. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es viele Gaststätten.
Titisee und Schluchsee sowie der Feldberg sind ganz in der Nähe,10-20 min mit dem Auto.
Die reizvolle Umgebung bietet viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten.
Die Vermieter empfingen uns ganz herzlich und standen uns in dieser Woche immer hilfreich zur Seite.

Wir, 5 Jugendliche, verbrachten im Februar dieses Jahres eine Woche im Haus Sonnwärts. Es ist ruhig gelegen, besitzt aber gleichzeitig eine sehr günstige Verkehrsanbindung, zur Bushaltestelle benötigten wir keine 5 Minuten. Unsere Wohnung war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und bot eine einladende Atmosphäre. Für unsere Snowboards bzw. Ski waren gute Abstellmöglichkeiten vorhanden. Wir genossen die Gastfreundlichkeit und fühlten uns im Haus Sonnwärts sehr wohl.

Sonnwärts: ruhig und eine gute Lage

Wir haben schon zwei mal Haus Sonnwärts besucht. Ein mal mit unsere zwei Kinder und ein mal mit unsere Kinder und Eltern. Beide malen war die Empfang herzlich. Die Ferienwohnung hat eine ruhige Lage, aber mann ist in 10 Minuten beim Skipiste und in 3 Minuten beim Supermarkt.
