The apartment is 60m2 and is situated in a gated, private and beautifully landscaped garden setting. There is a large swimming pool within the complex, exclusively for use by the residence of the apartments, and we also have our own secure private parking space, both of which you would have the free use of while staying at the apartment.
The apartment is south facing, very sunny & bright and has a large terrace ( 14m2 ) from which there are stunning views across Villefranche Bay, of the sea, coastline, and the mountains behind.
There is an elevator in the building.
The bedroom has a double bed, a large purpose wardrobe, bedside tables etc.
The lounge area is very spacious (24m2) with all the comforts you would expect.
There are two leather double bed pullout sofas in the lounge area.
There is a separate fully equipped kitchen, ideal for cooking and dining either in the apartment or on the terrace.
The apartment is just five minutes walk down to the nearest beach / marine, and a further five - seven minutes walk along the castle sea wall which has beautiful views across the bay to Cap De Ferrat will bring you to the Old Town of Villefranche-Sur-Mer, the small fishing port and the long sandy beach which is great for swimming for young and old.The Old Town offer a great selection of restraunts to suit all tastes and budgets.
We had a great time in Villefranche - spent most of our time on the balcony watching the most amazing view!
This is a high quality apartment that is ideal as a base to explore the Côte d'Azur. It is a five minute stroll from local amenities such as supermarket, bakery and local restaurants and a 20 minute walk into the lovely town of Villefranche. It is also on several bus lines with easy access to Nice, Monaco and St Jean Cap Ferrat. The apartment is furnished and decorated to a high standard and there is a lovely pool in the complex. The view from the terrace is to die for!
Pictures on websites are always difficult to judge but in this case the pictures simply do not do the property justice. The terrace is very large (the full width of the apartment and over 6 feet deep) with a large dining table and chairs with a very effective wind down awning to keep the sun at bay if you want to. The views from the terrace are stunning of the bay and across to Cap Ferrat.
The kitchen is well equipped as described. The lounge has 2 large sofas and tv with uk channels. We did not use the sofa beds so cannot comment on them.
The bedroom has fitted wardrobes, bedside tables and lights and a comfortable double bed. This was especially important to me as I suffer with back problems. So perfect for us.
The bathroom has a large shower with lots of instant hot water.
Linen was good, cotton sheets and white towels. The apartment was very clean, tidy and well maintained.
Alex was helpful during the booking stage and ensured we knew when our payments had cleared into his account. Sandra was very helpful showing us all the apartment and how to use the washing machine etc as well as taking us to the swimming pool so we knew where it was located and showing us how to use the access key fobs. She pre-arranged with us when we expected to arrive and we confirmed this with a text. She was there to let us in when we got off the bus. Sandra also provided her email address and phone number in case we needed her which we didn't as everything was perfect.
The apartment is on the 81/100 bus route into Nice and to either Cap Ferrat or Menton (via Monaco). There is a Carrefour a few stops back into Nice or you can walk (we meandered along the beautiful route and it took us 45 minutes) and then we took the bus back with our shopping. There is also a SuperU at Beaulieu which you get to by taking the 81 and walking a short route to the train station there.

Die Wohnung liegt in einem größeren Block ; trotzdem fühlt man sich wie im Ferienhaus und kann Tag und Nacht absolute Ruhe genießen.
Sehr angenehm: Der Ort mit Eßlokalen ist bequem fußläufig erreichbar, und
besonders: Die Busse in alle Richtungen (mehrmals pro Stunde) halten in etwa 150m Entfernung.
Hinter der Anlage gehen Wege bergauf und laden zu schönen Wanderungen ein.
Zusammengefasst: Die Wohnung kann wärmstens empfohlen werden. Wir würden
sie sofort wieder buchen; und Freunde von uns haben bereits Interesse gezeigt.
Being from the U.S., we were unsure about reserving a place in France without knowing the owners or managers. However, we did make the reservation and the apartment is just as described and shown in the pictures. We had a contact number for the rental manager, who met us at the complex and went through the apartment with us explaining how everything worked. Everything was very clean. The only thing that could be improved is the bed's mattress.
We went to the market at the bottom of the hill and bought fresh vegetables, cheeses, and sausages. We feasted on the balcony, toasting our good fortune at eating such good food, drinking such good wine and having such a beautiful view.
This was a great location for exploring the coast and the hillside villages. We very strongly recommend this without any hesitation.
Villefranche is a perfect place to stay and a perfect base to visite the fantastic sites of the Côte d'Azur (by car, train or bus). The apartment is confortable, big enough for 4 to 5 persons and verry well equiped. Wonderful breakfast on the balcony! The only thing we missed was the spring-sun in the afternoon. We would choose the same apartment for our next trip to Villefranche.
The village of Villefranche-Sur-Mer is just 4-5 minutes walk from the apartment, where there are several Supermarkets, a Newsagent - Boulangeries ( Bakery) - Pharmacy - banks / ATM - cafes/restaurants etc.
There is a very interesting antiques market held in the centre of the Village each and every Sunday morning from early to approx 4pm in the afternoon. There is also a jewellery and antiques market held in the old town of Villefranche ( at the same time) which is just 5 minutes walk further down to the waters edge.
The Port , old Town, and parts of the Citidal (castle) of Villefranche date back to 130 BC and some of the streets ( Rue Obscure ) in the old town have not changed in over 500 years.
There is a very regular bus service which runs through the village (There is a bus stop just outside the gates of the apartment building) which will take you north to Monaco ( approx 20 minutes travel time ) and on into Italy, or south towards Nice - Antibes - Cannes etc.
