We have been married 45 years and lived in Ann Arbor for over 30 years. We have three children and two grandchildren. We have been coming to Bass Lake for over 40 years visiting and vacationing with Ron's aunt and uncle along with the many cousins and friends.
We have stayed with family near this 5 acre resort over the years just a few hundred feet away. With over 750 feet of frontage on Bass Lake we always looked longingly at the property as a great asset to the lake and community. As the owners aged the activity at the cabins slowed and it was not operated for many years prior to our purchase. Several of the cousins and friends joined together to own and renovate a 'lovely part of Bass Lake' which serves to enhance the great memories of growing up there during the summers.
This property has the benefits of a quiet, serene, 'On Golden Pond' remote setting but with the many advantages a lovely town like Traverse City offers in activities, events and attractions just minutes away. A unique touch...the cottages were named for the first renter's state when they were built in the 40's. Ours is 'Indiana'.
