We loved this apartment, the views from the roof top deck are amazing. It was wonderful watching sunrise over the water view and sunset over the city view. Susan was so great sending transportation and other details before our arrival. The apartment is luxurious and cosy at the same time and so close to the historical sites. It's perfect!
Located at the corner of South Street and Second Street, the penthouse is very close to many historic attractions, including historic Philadelphia, the National Constitution Center, the original Ben Franklin Post Office, the Visitors Center, Betsy Ross House, the National Liberty Museum, the National Museum of American Jewish History, and so much more. All are within short walking distances.
South Street is one of Philadelphia's liveliest and eclectic streets. Business people saunter down the block from nearby Washington Square West and Society Hill to mingle with their more Bohemian counterparts for lunch, while visitors flock to the area to savor their first Philly cheese steak. Mirroring this diverse mix of fun-to-watch pedestrians is a wonderfully eclectic lineup of over 300 shops and more than 60 eateries, cafes and bars. The area’s restaurants reflect the various ethnic flavors of several nearby neighborhoods. There are also several performance venues featuring fringe theater and live music.
