Condo, 4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths (Sleeps 10-14)

We recently purchased this H Unit Condo and have totally renovated the entire condo. The 'Letter' condos where built in the late 70's and have all the exterior charm of the classic vintage ski condo...you either love them or not.

Some of these condos are very original, very rough and not very much fun to stay in. Others have been updated and remodeled and updated to a wide range of levels. These vintage condos are favorites for many Boyne skiers. You can't beat the great location and the ability to sleep a lot of people in a true condo setting with a full kitchen.

Our condo has 4 bedrooms/3 baths and sleeps 10 comfortably. You are welcome to sleep a few more if you can fit them or bring along and air mattress. There are 2 large master suites with simple private bathrooms. One master is set up with a king size bed and the other has a queen size bed. The loft has 2 twin beds. The 'bunk room' has two bunk beds that sleep 4. Both Suites and the Bunk Room have flat screen televisions.

The kitchen is well equipped with brand new full size appliances, including the refrigerator, electric range, dishwasher and microwave. The dining room is part of the great room with a table that seats 6.

Like the condos built during this era...and similar to the Disciples Village condos built during the 90's...the great room/living space may seem small compared to the number of people the condo sleeps. While 'not large', the living room is comfortable and has a beautiful tall stone gas fireplace, tall vaulted ceiling and includes the Kitchen and Dining Table.

Our condo has a one of the kind custom ski locker room that is approximately 10x 15 feet with built-in ski lockers and ski storage....all custom crafted. You are encouraged to bring yourself and your snowy gear right in the back door into the locker room. The back door is a short 75 steps to the base of Boyneland Chairlift and there are no hills to climb on the way there or back.

We purchased the condo in September and have had it stripped to the drywall. Everything has been professionally remodeled and replaced with ...new flooring...new cabinets...new appliances...new lighting....new plumbing ( except for the tub/showers )...new trim....new paint...etc. All of the furnishing and decor is new to the unit....a fun mix of brand new furniture and eclectic vintage/antique/re-purposed pieces from Northern Michigan.

This Condo may be available to be rented without one of the Master Suites at a discounted rate if you only need 3 bedrooms. One of the Suites has a steel 'lock off' door which allows the Condo to be split in to 1 small unit and 1 large unit. This Condo will be leased as a 3 Bedroom/2 Bath on the following dates...Jan 11-13.

For us, this condo in H Building reflects the vintage ski condo and is the most convenient to the base village and chairlifts. Lots of Space - Great Decor - Helpful Owner

Owner was responsive and easily reachable. Lots of space for 1 or 2 families to easily stay comfortably. Unit was very nicely updated for owner's enjoyment - so we felt more like family guests than renters. Great location just a few steps from the Boyneland lift, yet positioned within the complex for reasonable privacy.

Only negative: the mattresses in the master and guest suites are extremely soft.

Condo with lots of charm

Last minute plans for a late season ski weekend turned into a great time. This 3+ bedroom condo was top notch, from location to amenities. A young family of 5 enjoyed 3 days of Boyne Mountain. Condo had everything you would need. Even for our short stay we felt right at home. Skiing during the day and a little March Madness basketball on the HDTV in front of the fireplace in the evening. Seriously though, the best part is the ski in/out ability. There is no need to schlep your gear from condo to car or shuttle bus to parking lot to the base of the mountain. Just walk out the back door and a very short walk later you are standing in the lift line. The ability to return to the condo for lunch, shed the ski gear and sit down around a table with comfort was great. However I will contend the distance. The listing states 75 steps to the lift. I counted 78 :-)

I highly recommend this condo for your family. We hope to be back in the future.

Great Location and Condo

The condo is located steps away from the Boyneland chair lift, so it's very easy to get to the slopes. It's also a quick and easy walk to Avalanche Bay. The condo itself is very clean and beautifully decorated. The ski locker room is organized very well so that everyone has a spot for their ski equipment, coats, etc. I will definitely look at renting this place again.
