Welcome to our 2200 sq. ft. luxury AMARA beach front condo, located in the heart of the Ixtapa hotel zone with spectacular ocean / mountain views and amazing sunsets.

The Amara has the best location on the beach in Ixtapa, and is just a short walk away from great restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, a movie theatre, and nightlife! The Amara is just 10 minutes away by cab from Zihuatanejo, and approximately 20 minutes from the airport.

Our unit, located on the 6th floor, is one of only 90 condos in this gated complex with 24 hour security. The complex has two units per floor and guests have immediate access to the conveniently located elevators right from their front door.

Our modern tastefully decorated condo includes you everything need for a great vacation.

The spacious living room / dining room has floor to ceiling glass doors opening to the furnished balcony. The dining room seats eight+ people and living room includes a flat screen TV with SKY cable and DVD player.

There are 4 bedrooms; two Ocean view bedrooms (one king / one queen), and two Mountain view bedrooms. (one queen / two single) Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, plenty of storage, air conditioning unit and ceiling fan.

The kitchen is fully equipped with high end stainless steel appliances - gas oven/range, dishwasher and double refrigerator. Additional appliances include: microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, blender, Panini grill, as well as all the utensils, plates, pots and pans. The laundry room includes ample storage, a washer/dryer, iron / ironing board as well as 5th full bathroom. (Maid service and a cook are available upon request at a very reasonable additional cost.)

The complex amenities include private beach palapas, three pools (adult, family and children's wading), private beach front entrance with attached shower and washroom facilities, a great bar with very reasonably priced drinks and light meals, beautifully landscaped gardens, a gym, two paddle tennis courts, two assigned parking stalls and full 24 hr. security.

This was a very beautiful condo right on the beach with a great view. We went with fishing buddies and had a great time. I would highly recommend this condo. We would recommend downloading any movies you would like to watch before you go as the WiFi can tend to be slow during peak hours. If we go back to Ixtapa this is where we will stay. Thanks all.
