Wait no longer! A PRIVATE viewing of Elk, Deer and Turkeys in a surreal setting. Our newly remodeled ranch house has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and is very quaint and cozy! It is nestled in an aspen tree grove on a private ranch. This ranch is the heart of where the deer and elk make their summer home. This little piece of heaven is an absolute must for the person looking for an amazing experience and not just a place to lay your head. It is an excursion all in itself! You will enjoy a scenic 1 mile drive on a graded dirt road to the ranch house. The view from the porch is unlimited!! Our ranch house is a unique opportunity to view wildlife up close, but it is absolutely necessary to keep the noise to a minimum to get that experience. You will view elk, turkey and deer on the front lawn. There is an outdoor cooking area with a barbecue and picnic table. The area is covered with a aspen log pergola with the view of wildlife in the meadow for a great outdoor dining experience. A place like no other!
Cleaning fee waived on a 6 night stay!!
Absolutely no pets and no smoking!!!!
Our newly remodeled ranch house is centrally located between Zion, Bryce and Cedar Breaks National Monument. Enjoy the amazing scenery and famous hiking trails. Aspen Mirror Lake, Navajo Lake and Panguitch Lake are within minutes of the ranch house along with several excellent fly-fishing streams/rivers. There are over 500 miles of atv trails. During the summer, enjoy the beautiful wild flowers and wildlife.
This cozy, quaint and newly remodeled ranch house is fully furnished with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. There is satellite TV/DVD for your convenience. For you baseball fans, not to worry....we have the MLB package, so you won't miss a game of your favorite team. There is a queen size bed in bedroom 1 and a queen size bed in bedroom 2. For sure, this is a great home base for your Southern Utah vacation. Just minutes away you'll enjoy visiting the national parks, taking in a fishing day, atv or horseback riding, a day at the sand dunes, hiking or just a simple picnic.
There is a fire pit! You can enjoy roasting hotdogs, marshmalloooows or the kids new favorite (starburst candy)!!! The roasted marshmallows make the best roasted dessert, s'mores!!!! (graham cracker, chocolate, roasted marshmallows). Just put the chocolate and roasted marshmallow between the graham cracker and it makes a great sandwich dessert. Mm.. Goooood! You'll never forget it!

Fall Season... the color change of the leaves are a sure thing to talk about!
There is an international airport in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. Cedar City has a regional airport as well. Las Vegas and Salt Lake City are both linked with Interstate 15 with an exit to Cedar City. It's just a short 40 minutes on a beautiful scenic drive up the mountain on Highway 14 to our ranch house.
Should you happen to forget something, there is Tod's Country Store that is just 2 miles away and has a pretty good selection. Groceries, gas, gifts, liquor, beer, wine, ice, soft serve ice cream and a self-serve grill to cook your hamburger or steak sandwich to your perfection!! On Saturday mornings during the summer months in Tod's Country Stores' parking lot, there is a great farmers market and fatty's barbeque.
Come visit, you won't be disappointed!
The cabin far exceeded any expectation we had. The owner took very careful steps to make sure the cabin attracted the local wildlife which made the stay so unbelievable. The cabin itself was beautifully decorated and provided everything we could need to make our experience all that it could have been. We are already planning our next trip to the area and will certainly rent this property again. The location just made it so much more enjoyable as it is situated in the most stunning landscape our country has to offer. Thanks for making our vacation beyond spectacular and amazing.
My wife and I loved the Ranch House. It is absolutely wonderful. It's very secluded and private and yet still close to the National Parks. I wish we could have stayed longer.
This is a beautiful place and what an honor it was to be able to visit! if you visit... plan on being totally secluded (That means c/p too! you can use c/p but it is limited). The house is small but very cozy and efficient, perfect for 4 persons. Every day we saw wildlife everywhere. In the beautiful meadow out front we saw a herd of about 100 Rocky Mountain Elk and a huge herd of deer as well - RIGHT IN OUR FRONT YARD!! lots of birds, chipmunks, turkeys!! Animal lovers paradise!!
Very close to Zion,Bryce and Cedar Falls. Cedar Falls is Awesome so don't miss it!
You can tell the owners truly love this ranch and care very much for the wildlife. Again we were very honored to have gotten to share this wonderful place.
if you are a person who can't live without your c/p or the conveniences of the city - I'd say don't come. We stayed 7 days and never had a problem. 1 issue was a light in the meadow on at night that we did not know how to turn off - we e-mailed Amanda and it was fixed within minutes so we could enjoy the night lit up with stars. Thank you so much again and we will highly recommend this for our friends and family visiting the Canyons of Utah

Lots of wildlife around cabin. Saw deer (including many fawns) and turkeys every day. Saw and heard elk bugling almost every evening. Saw lots of birds and a marmot. Thought a bobcat was seen, but not confirmed.
Due to rain, definitely needed 4-wheel drive to navigate road to cabin. Cabin is small (cozy?). Bathroom could use an electrical outlet and a hook on the back of the door. Best suited for a couple or a couple with maybe two small kids. Will probably have to wash towels and washcloths.
TV is small and hung very high on the wall. Cabin is located very near mid-point between Bryce and Zion National Parks. Would rate as fair, but for the exceptional opportunity to view wildlife in the front yard from the porch every day and the location, just off Hwy 89, near National and State Parks. Be sure to plan meals and bring all grocery items you need. While at Bryce, be sure to eat at Ruby's. Directions could use some work to make easy for first-time visitors -- some driveways look more like roads than do the actual roads.
Bryce and Zion canyons were nearby and well worth a visit but nothing matched returning each afternoon to this special place. Serene, secluded, beautiful and visited by deer, elk and wild turkey. The cottage was immaculate, well furnished, comfortable beds. Sunrise in the well appointed kitchen was bliss. We would suggest provisioning at the Walmart in charming Cedar City about 40 miles away and stopping at the Cedar Breaks Monument en route. Once you are there it is hard to leave. Having hiked both parks, we would return again just to spend time in this paradise found.
My girlfriend and I spent a week at the ranch house. We loved it. We arrived late at night and found the place thanks to the good directions. Not having seen the property in the daylight until the next morning, we went out to the front room to see a small herd of elk grazing on the front lawn. Each eve we enjoyed the wildlife show...deer and elk. The owners had a small telescope on the patio for us that helped with viewing the vast meadow stretched out in front of the house. While there we made several day trips to Bryce, Cedar Breaks and Zion. We had a minor water problem and the owner resolved the problem within a few hours. I would recommend this place for those that can appreciate seclusion and viewing wildlife. If you're looking for the nightlight, golf courses, shopping malls, etc...this isn't the place.
