Mammoth Lakes Condo Rental Photos and Description

Charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo next to Canyon Lodge

Charming 2 bedroom and 2 bath family owned condo located at the base of Mammoth Mountain's Canyon Lodge, just a 10 minute walk to the lifts and slopes and 1 mile away from the village. We're also just a short walk to Warming Wall for some rock climbing in the summer and next to the uptown/downtown bike/ski trails. There is a shuttle stop in front of the condo, which can take you to canyon lodge (only 1 stop away!) or down to the village. During the winter season (nov - april), the blue line runs from the village to Canyon Lodge every 15 minutes. The summer trolley runs from the village to Mammoth West every 20 minutes.

Come up and enjoy outdoor recreaction unrivaled in the west while staying in our nicely decorated, two-story condo. The condo includes two downstairs bedrooms with queen size beds, two downstairs bathrooms, nice towels and linens, a large living room with a sleeper sofa and flat screen tv, a dining area that seats 6-8, a fully stocked kitchen, and wireless internet.

The development has beautifully landscaped grounds among tall pine and aspen trees and a large year-round jacuzzi and sauna. The swimming pool is open in the summer, when you can enjoy the fabulous fishing, hiking, boating, water-skiing, golfing, horseback riding, summer concerts, mountain biking on mammoth's bike park, and much, much more. This is not a hotel-style lodging; rather it is a clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, cozy mountain home with a wood burning stove, in a small condominium development with easy access to both summertime and winter activities.

Great place

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at the condo! It's super close to Canyon, <10min walk. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and appliances and there were tons of great movies and games to keep us entertained. Seriously, we always bring games to the mountain and we didn't crack them open once, we had enough to choose from in the house!

The bedrooms were clean with tons of blankets to keep us warm. I'd recommend supplying bath soap of some kind. And another chair in the living room would've been nice. But this is nitpicking here, we'd stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much!

Lovely Condo and great location!!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I rented this condo over the Christmas/New Years Holiday. The location was excellent, short 5 minute walk or a 1 minute bus ride to Canyon Lodge Ski area. The bus location is located right in front of the condo. Parking was close and convenient. We love condos located in the Canyon Lodge area because skiing is close and the Village is just down the hill where you can shop and dine at great restaurants.

The condo is reasonably priced which makes it a winner, since so many of Mammoth condos are over priced. The condo is very clean, well taken care of and open floor plan with lots of space to relax after skiing. We had lovely beds in both rooms and soft towels. The condo was well stocked with supplies in the kitchen. Also great entertainment in the living area, TV, DVD player, Wifi, games, puzzles, etc. The key lock box was very convenient for multiple family members. You could keep the key in the box the entire vacation and everyone could come home when they were finished with skiing or snow shoeing for the day and not have to wait for the one person with the condo key. I wish every condo would have a lock box.

My husband and I ski about 30 to 40 days a year and we would for sure stay here again. We both highly recommend this condo to all our friends and family looking for a 2 bed, 2 bath condo in Mammoth.

Cheers!!

Super comfy, very cool cabin. Convenient location!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is perfect for anyone searching for a reasonably priced clean and updated 2 bedroom cabin in Mammoth.

The cabin was very well appointed with plenty of nice soft towels, new (clean and soft) bedding that was not outdated as in some cabins I've stayed in, soft pillows, extra blankets and even special towels for the pool and hot tub on location(yes a pool and hot tub!!!!).

The kitchen had everything thing you need to cook a full gourmet meal and plenty of nice new matching dishes.

And a big bonus was the TV, Movie, Games provided. Full cable in the house, a nice DVD collection(tons of classics and new movies), and bunches of cool board games!

The owner was wonderful to deal with very accommodating. I will definitely stay here again next time I travel to mammoth and recommend to my friends!

Cleanliness, Convenience, Hospitality and Comfort Abound

  • 5 of 5

This property was very nice and in a quiet part of Mammoth Lakes. It provided nearby access to public transit while still being close enough to the various points of interest that Mammoth Lakes affords. The interior of the condominium was stocked with plenty of towels and linens and was VERY clean. There were plenty of provisions made for indoor entertainment, in case of inclement weather. The Village at Mammoth Lakes is about a mile away and within walking distance and the Austria Hof restaurant and bar is right next door to Mammoth West.

Awesome, well-equipped condo.

  • 5 of 5

I've been renting condos in Mammoth for about eight years, and this condo was easily my best experience. I stayed here for five nights, with four other guests. The simple reason for the all-star review was it was thoughfully equipped, like someone's home (which it is). Every cooking gadget you'd need, even a lasagna pan, could be found in the kitchen. The knives were sharp, a first in my experience. I didn't have to bend down to get my head wet in the tiled (not plastic) shower, another first. The beds (including the hideaway) were top notch, with quality linens. There was a side closet for board/ski storage, ample hooks everywhere for drying gear, and a multitude of games, books and DVDS for entertainment. There was, for once, an abundance of extra pillows, blankets, and towels. An overall pleasure, and the owner, Melanie, was happy to answer my many email questions prior to the trip. Give this condo a look, you won't be disappointed.

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

The location is fantastic - we could stroll down to the Village for coffee or (if there had been snow) walk to the Canyon Lodge and catch the lifts up to the mountain. The condo easily accommodated four adults and a young child, with plenty of space to play and spread out. The beds are comfortable, the movie selection is good, and the owners are very welcoming. Highly recommended!

The mammoth lakes area boasts an incredible variety of outdoor activities. These include the wintertime snow activities of downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, sleigh rides, etc. Summer brings world-class fishing (now year round in selected waters), hiking, pack trips, biking, hot springs, seasonal golf (two courses locally), swimming, tennis, wildlife viewing, and day trips to yosemite (in season), bodie, the devil's postpile, death valley, and mono lake. Year round outlet shopping, fine dining and festivals abound. It is hard to have enough time to do everything that the mammoth lakes area offers!
