|Minimum Stay||3 - 4 nights|
This cozy studio was just totally remodeled in the Fall of 2012 and is now back on the rental market for you to enjoy. Just steps away from Payday Ski Lift at Park City Mountain Resort, this beautiful 375 square foot condo is in the perfect setting.
When you enter our condo you will notice bright colorful rugs contrasting with dark, rich hardwood floors. You will be directed to the kitchen which has beautiful glass tile and recessed lighting with gorgeous dark chocolate custom cabinetry and sparkling new appliances. Cookware and bakeware are available for you to microwave a snack or prepare a gourmet meal. We stock coffee and basic spices at the beginning of each season. This inventory depends on guests restocking what they use.
There is seating for 4 at the granite bar with a trendy yet contemporary flare. The living/entertainment area has colorful rugs and a rich brown leather sofa which converts to a comfortable queen sleeper.
The murphy bed makes for a fun and retro feel and is convienantly hidden in the wall until time for sleep. Both beds have designer sheets and quilts for a luxurious feel and comfort.
We carried the contemporary feel through to the bath as well with the sleek, open cabinetry and retro bubble tile. Thick, plush bath towels are provided along with soaps and a hair dryer. There are coin operated laundry facilities on the 3rd floor if you which to wash clothes or freshen your towels during your stay.
The 8 foot sliding glass door with it's views of the village below and the mountains in the background and to the west is the perfect finishing touch to our home away from home. For your enjoyment, the resort has an indoor/outdoor pool with 2 hot tubs as well and in building A on the 2nd and 3rd floor there are 2 additional hot tubs. The Fitness Center is a popular spot directly adjacent to the pool. There are saunas, steam rooms, showers and lockers for your use. If you ask at the front desk, you may obtain a lock and will be directed to the ski locker area which is convienantly located on the ground level so you don't have to haul your skis up stairs.
We hope you find our home comfortable, relaxing and want to come back again and again. We will do all we can to make your stay enjoyable.
My husband is a Contractor and I sell Real Estate. We live in Southeastern Idaho which is only a 4 hour drive to Park City.
We enjoy our professions. I enjoy helping others find the homes of their dreams and my husband enjoys building/remodeling homes and also doing stucco and rock.
ConnieFogle purchased this condo in 2012
When we first saw this property, we knew it was just what we were looking for. It was in the perfect location with so much to do whether it's summer or fall and most if it is within walking distance and if it's not, then you can take the free transportation provided by the City.
When we walked inside for the first time, it was in near perfect condition, but circa 1980. We knew we would have fun with it and we did. We are having even more fun now that it is completed.
We had a great time taking this property and turning it into something that reflected our own style and personality. It gives us a huge sense of accomplishment to have it turn out the way we had imagined it would. We are enjoying it and we hope it will bring many hours of enjoyment for you as well.
The condo is located so close to everything. Lifts, bars, rental equipment, couldn't ask for anything better. We had a wonderful time. The host was very easy to work with. The only thing that could be added is a couple chairs for the back porch.
Great condo, very clean, perfect location, just a little small for 4 people
We rented this studio condo for 3 nights in February and it was a great experience. It was an easy booking process with Connie and an easy check-in going through the Lodge at Mountain Village. The toughest part of the whole experience was trying to find the condo, once we checked in! Ha! It is in a great location (just steps from the Payday lift), just had to find the right doors and elevator to get us there. This was our first time to ski Park City and we couldn't have been happier with the condo. It was very clean and everything was in working order for our three night stay. This property was perfect for my husband and myself. I think it is only big enough for 2-maybe 3 if you had a small child. We really loved Park City and will definitely be visiting again.
My husband, 12 year old daughter and I loved this spot and had a fabulous stay. It was perfect for the the three of us. The location is ideal if you are a skier. You are just steps away from the lifts and the Village has many shops and restaurants. Aside from a grocery store, you literally could not leave this Village the entire time (though you will want to go downtown Park City as it is a charming and fun little town). There is a small convenience store just steps away if you need some small items.
The condo is small but has a fully equipped kitchen. We made breakfast every morning and even a couple if dinners. The beds (one Murphy and one pull out couch) were both quite comfortable and have nice linens and lots of pillows. And the towels were nice and plush, not your typical hotel towel, a nice touch.
We had planned to ski other resorts but with this great location we ended up skiing here all four days. The Park City mountain is huge and has so much to offer all levels of skiers.
After a day of skiing it was nice to just walk down the hall and soak in the indoor jacuzzi.
We debated renting a car and were happy we did. While There is a free bus service that runs regularly to town, it was nice to have a car to pick up groceries and see what see was in the area. The Olympic Park was an interesting spot and definitely worth a stop on your way in or out of town.
I have used VRBO in the past and have always been highly satisfied, this time included. The owners of this unit were wonderful. They were easy to contact and helpful with information about the unit and surrounding area as we had never been to Park City. I would highly recommend this unit and would definitely come again.
My fiance and I decided to take a ski holiday during Valentines Day / President's Weekend.
It was my first time using VRBO. I was a little nervous about the whole thing, but the owners of the condo made this a wonderful experience and were absolutely fantastic to work with! They made everything so easy, they answered questions, we chatted on the phone and they were responsive to email.
The place is clean, comfortable and newly remodeled. Because of the hardwood floors in this condo, I will always rent ski condos with hardwood floors because it makes such a difference regarding the wet, musty smell you typically encounter at ski resorts.
The condo is small and I can't see having more than 2 people because you essentially live in 1 room as the TV, kitchen, and sleeping all happen in 1 area but we found it perfect for us the 2 of us!
The overall layout of the facility can be a little confusing. It took a few seconds to figure out where to check in, get to the condo and find the parking garage... etc. If you get frustrated just take a deep breath! Once you start exploring you will find the site is super easy to navigate. We even found short-cuts after a day or so.
If you have a car. I recommend using the parking pass (free at the hotel check in) and park in the garage. If you can stay on the first level where you pull in, the elevator is right there and the condo is literally up the steps. Regarding the steps... I can see where that might be a pain however...
If you plan on skiing other locations just keep your gear in the car! It is way easier.
If you are only going to ski at Park City, get a locker (front desk will provide you a lock free of charge) and store your skis in the locker. You'll be 15ft from the ski lift!
Don't carry your skis around trying to get into an elevator or going up the steps!
And have a blast!
I would definitely rent this condo again.
Thank you for such a great time!

Had a fantastic stay in early January 2013. This unit is newly renovated, and a cut above other rental condos we've stayed in. The renovations are very nicely done, with a consistent modern theme and quality finishes. Some high points include:
- Relatively spacious and comfortable bathroom, with new tile and fixtures
- Nice wood/laminate floor, rather than the stained carpet we've come to expect in ski condos.
- New, comfortable mattress
- Fully equipped kitchen with full size stove and compact (but big enough) dishwasher... this is often absent from ski condos, and is much appreciated!
- Great location; very easy access to the ski lifts (easiest to ski down to Eagle, but Payday is a short walk) The balcony overlooks the pedestrian mall with shops & dining, and also has a view of the mountain.
- Free underground parking is a nice bonus!
- Terrific, attentive owners. We had an issue with the TV not working when we arrived, and the Fogles drove down the next day with a replacement, along with treats from the Chocolate Factory! Can't ask for more than that!
Some things to be aware of:
- The unit is not large. It's comfortable for a couple, but maybe not for a larger group. If you unfold the sleeper sofa, it will be right next to the main bed.
- Access to the parking garage isn't easy if you have luggage; it takes two elevators and a bit of a walk. Using the stairs is much faster, but not much fun if you're carrying gear.
- There are a couple of good-sized closets, but no place to store folded items like socks, t-shirts, etc. As a suggestion, maybe some shelves could be added to one of the closets.
Overall, a great vacation for us, and we would be happy to return, and to recommend it to others!
Helpful hint for visitors: you can save money on ski lift tickets by purchasing through liftopia.com, or buying them at one of the ski shops in Salt Lake City, where you can also find cheaper ski rentals than on the mountain.
While you are in the Park City area, you will want to make sure you visit Olympic Park where you can get a feel for the 2002 Park City Winter Olympics at the museum and watch Olympians and future Olympians sharpen their downhill talents. After that you might enjoy an exhilerating downhill zipline ride.
At the I80/Kimball Junction exit there is the Tanger Outlet Mall where you can shop in over 50 stores.
In Old Town Park City you can find Art Galleries, Hotels , Restaurants and Bars. In the Summer they have Silly Sundays which offer street venders selling their wares and musicians providing musical talent.
Park City Mountain Resort is a one stop shop, sleep, eat, ski and entertainment in the winter. The summer there's a roller coaster, zipline, miniature gold and other rides and attractions. There is something for everyone at Park City Mountain Resort.
