The main floor has a fully stocked kitchen & BBQ, Master Bedroom with KING bed and en-suite bath. Draw a bubble bath in Allison's private claw-foot tub with ocean views. A spacious sunken living room w/cable t.v., wifi, hardwood floors,down-filled sofa. 3 bdrms. upstairs (2 Queen Rooms, 1 two-Twin Bed Room) 3Pc. bath . Ocean views from every room. Sleeps up to 8.
About Murray Sumner

Owned mutually by 4 siblings who live in four different cities and 2 countries, but rest assured we'll be there for all your needs!

Our parents built this charming home for their retirement and upon their passing we all had such pleasant times and memories of Salt Spring that we decided we should allow others to experience the unique warmth and rest of Allison (our dear mother) House as it became known.

We have kept the name in her honor.

The island is approx. 22 miles long and 4-5 miles wide and named after the salt water springs at the islands' north end. Steeped in history, the ambiance is much like an English countryside with many local famous artists and skilled craftspeople holding open studio tours. A renowned local farmer's and craft market (not to be missed) every Saturday. Local vineyard tours & wine tasting as well as amazing goat cheeses and soap works- the list is endless!

The locals are almost too friendly!

We enjoyed a wonderful girl's getaway weekend and thoroughly enjoyed this gracious and lovely holiday home. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and ease-filled stay. The beautiful views, luxurious beds, cozy living room, well-equipped and appointed kitchen and lovely outdoor sitting areas exceeded our expectations. A perfect retreat.

This rental property was a fantastic place to relax. Beautiful location, secluded enough to keep you away from other people, but close enough to town that you can pop in and pick up necessitates. The property itself is gorgeous and exceeded our expectations. Only thing to keep in mind is that it is up a fairly large hill and while bringing a car isn't necessary, it certainly would have made life easier.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
