Wonderful luxury 1 bedroom unit - with sofa bed, located on the main floor in a house in the heart of High Park. The house has been fully renovated 7 years ago, the unit is freshly painted and everything in it is brand new.

Open concept with 11 foot ceilings, hardwood and slate floors throughout, and big windows make it a bright modern home. The cupboards are filled with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, mugs and everything you need to prepare your meal. As well, there are fresh towels and bedding's provided for your stay too. The flat screen TV, free cable and free WiFi are also included for your personal use. Complete with 6 appliances (washer, dryer, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, stove) and a BBQ, the unit has everything you need. You also have cozy covered front porch where you can start your day with a coffee or end your day with a glass of wine.

The neighborhood is family friendly, with parks (High Park is 1/2 block away), cafes and restaurants within walking distance and friendly neighbors. We also live in the building so we are close by to answer any questions or point you in the right direction.

The house is right in High Park. Everything is within walking distance including some of Toronto's greatest neighborhoods like, Roncesvalles village, Bloor West Village and the Artsy Junction. We have a Tim Horton's and 7/11 convenience store at the end of the street, and are open 24 hours for your convenience. You have several grocery stores, fresh fruit and veggie markets, liquor stores, pharmacy within 10 minute of your home.

The key highlight of this unit location, is you are across the street from our public transit -- right on the Bloor line. Which takes you everywhere you need to go, if you don't have a car. We are 18 minutes from the core of downtown and most city attractions.

It's all about location and convenience. Our home possess all. You will love this location, you are close to everything and surrounded by mature trees and neighborhoods, and far away enough from the concrete jungle. Stay with us, promise you will not be disappointed.

Frances & Greg met in Toronto, she from Toronto and he, from Montreal -- looks like he will be staying awhile. Married for 10 years, and 2 years into our honeymoon, we took on the challenge of looking for that perfect house in the City that we could renovate and make it about us. We found that home, and boy did it need help -- best way to start is rip everything out (and I mean everything) and start from the brick. Six months later, we have our perfect cozy place and designed it so that we could share it with others, by turning the 3 story home into 3 wonderfully modern, high end units. We love our home, our neighborhood and the City. I am a true Torontonian and proud of it.

Frances purchased this house in 2004

Location was everything for us. We wanted to be able to walk to the parks, to the lake, restaurants and public transit. The tree-lined streets and wonderful homes that surround feel like the neighborhood has been home for so many over the last 100+ years. It's mature, and young. Old and new ... and every time you go for a walk, you find out something new or see something you haven't before.

The 3 story home with a double porch was what sold me -- hadn't even looked inside when I said, Yes this is the house. The stain glass window and the old fireplace drew me and ironically enough, they are the 2 unique things (along with my lovely 2 story porch) is what still remains. And a fully renovated 110 year old house - and I know exactly what's behind those walls.

Fantastic well furnished apartment!

This apartment is exactly what you see from the photos. It is well furnished with good quality furnishings, hooks in the bathroom, lovely hand soap, tea, coffee and supplies in the fridge. There are plugs everywhere to charge your devices. The balcony is a delight to sit at in the evening with a drink and a chance to review the day. Frances has done an amazing job, making a holiday home feel welcoming and homely.
There are plenty of take out places nearby, and if you need some groceries there is a store a short distance away. There is a metro station very close to the apartment, therefore you do not need to worry about having a car. We did have one, and Frances arranged for us to have a permit as the street is a permit zone. We used the car to visit the Niagara Falls, which is a must see!
This holiday had been arranged as a surprise for my partner, and after Toronto we were taking the train to Vancouver. Frances was aware of this, and kept the secret, which I thank you.
If you are looking for a clean, calming holiday home in Toronto, I would recommend staying here. This apartment is perfect, and is somewhere I would be happy to have has my home.

We absolutely loved our stay at this apartment and wish we could have stayed longer in Toronto. The photos you see is exactly what you get and more. The apartment is charming, cozy, well equipped (anything you can possibly think of, its there!) and clean. Frances and Gregory also left us some snacks, which we thought was such a sweet touch. Travelers, definitely take advantage of the neighborhoods they suggest. We did and it made our stay much more memorable. Thank you Frances & Gregory and hope we can visit you again!

An amazing place to stay

I stayed over a month at this beautiful place and highly recommend it. The unit is beautiful, spotless, incredibly well furnished and very well stocked with many thoughtful items that make your stay comfortable and special. It is conveniently located near the subway (yet quiet) and close to grocery stores, restaurants and bakeries. The owners are generous, thoughtful and friendly hosts. The area is beautiful and its also easy to get around on foot.

Great weekend in the city!

We really enjoyed staying in this beautifully renovated apartment. The location is very good and felt quite homey. The kitchen is well stocked and although we brought in our own food, the fridge and cupboards had the essentials (coffee, tea, sugar, etc.) and more.
The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this unit and look forward to our next visit.

Fantastic apartment

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment very much, almost so much as we hardly wanted to go out sightseeing but just wanted to stay inside in the apartment all day. It has all the equipment you need for a short or long stay and the friendly owner was fantastic helpfull with everything. Very close to public transport and grocery shopping, but also possible to walk into the city if you don't mind walking.
