Across from Lithia Park, up a private drive , this secluded three story log home is a welcome retreat in the heart of Ashland. Only a ten minute walk through beautiful Lithia Park to the plaza. You are footsteps away from the exciting atmosphere of Ashland while enjoying the peace and serenity of a mountain cabin.

The middle floor has a great room with a wood stove, an amazing gourmet kitchen, with granite counter tops, conventional/convection ovens, microwave, warming drawer, dual dishwasher, wardrobe refrigerator, five range cook top, and everything necessary to create a memorable meal. Well stocked with dishes, cookware,

and utensils.

The dining space has a table that seats six, but expands to seat 8, 10, and 12 people. There are 8 TV's, games, movie library, and stereo system.

Free Wi-fi and Cable. (Premier Channels & HD)

The large master has a king bed, wood stove, a jacuzzi tub, double sinks, a make-up vanity, and a private toilet area with a large walk in shower, and bidet. Also on this floor is a computer space and half bath.

The first floor has three bedrooms all with queen beds. there is a large bathroom with a linen closet, and tub/shower combo. There is also a laundry room.

The double garage has a second refrigerator for extra food/beverage storage.

The third floor is the party room complete with a pool table, games, wet bar with mini bar fridge, deck, half bath, and two (2) new queen size sleeper sofas.

Outside you will find plenty of patio area and decks for relaxing or viewing the deer and wild turkeys that are around. There is a BBQ and smoker. Up on the second flagstone patio is a fire pit for evenings of smores and story telling.

This beautiful log home is an ideal place for family and friends.

The home comfortably sleeps 10 people. Non smoking.

All was as advertised. The home was lovely, comfortable and the setting beautiful. This is a perfect home for a girl-getaway or an adult family reunion of 8 or less (although it sleeps 12). Beware of the driveway in winter, however - very steep. We loved the kitchen and great room and the deck outside was marvelous. Fairly close to the Shakespeare theaters, but a bit of a walk nonetheless. Lithia Park is just across the street and the grounds are lovely and the walk to town pleasant. We'd love to return.

Amazing Property

The circumstances bringing us to Ashland were bittersweet - we were attending a memorial service for my husband's mother. The home had ample space to comfortably accomodate me and my husband, my three adult children and their significant others. This lovely log home served as a meeting place for our extended family gatherings. We hosted two dinners from the well-equipped kitchen (we made good use of the gas grill and the outdoor area). Three generations enjoyed the pool table, fire pit and spacious, beautifully decorated interior. The proximity to Lithia Park, the downtown and the numerous hiking trails make this home an outdoor lover's dream. This home is very special and we plan on returning. Linda, thank you for sharing your home!

Beautiful vacation experience!

My family and I just spent a week in this beautiful cabin in the treetops. We enjoyed morning strolls through Lithia park and we were minutes away from the Shakespeare festival and town. Linda has decorated the home beautifully. The home is located in a quiet peaceful setting and we saw many wild turkeys. We traveled with our 8 month old grandson so we cooked a lot of meals at home. The kit hen was well stocked with everything we needed to make wonderful gourmet meals. I would highly recommend this beautiful home away from home!

All the comforts of home

Hi Linda, we really enjoyed this home to celebrate my wife's birthday. We had a great time and had a lot of fun in your game room. The pool table was a hit. We visited our son who works at a horse ranch (Silver Spring Farm) in Ashland. We also hooked up with old school class mates that live and work in the surrounding area. The living area was great for that.
The dog friendly yard worked out perfectly and we were so happy to have our beloved dog with us.
We were treated to a snowy morning one day but the skies were open and benign for our entire visit.
We also appreciated the well stocked home and refrigerator; a nice touch.

Post-Christmas Family Gathering

This home was such a treat for me, my brother, my sister and our little families combined to meet half way between the bay area and portland area. We found ourselves constantly remarking on how perfect it was for us and how all of our needs were met (we have all had lesser experiences with other homes through VRBO). We did a lot of grocery shopping and found that we got several things that were already provided. The kitchen was stocked as if someone was actually living there and just stepped away for the time we were there. All of the bedrooms had super comfortable mattresses (memory foam?) and Linda was thoughtful enough to provide air mattresses to put under the matresses for the new hideabed sofas. Forget your shampoo/soap? No worries there, either. Also a wide variety of movies and books to choose from.
We had a lovely time and hope to have the chance to return again in the future.

One thing to consider - if you're a really light sleeper, don't choose the room closest to the garage. Apparently the water pump(?) can be a little loud at times.
