Cozy 2 bedroom 1 bathroom close to Heavenly & walking distance to Lake Tahoe

This quaint 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin located in the heart of the historic Bijou neighborhood is the ideal setting for a romantic getaway or family vacation. Ideally located for the avid skier, this cabin is roughly one mile from Heavenly Ski Resort, or if it is outdoor adventure you are seeking, then this cabin is perfect because it is walking distance from the El Dorado beach on Lake Tahoe. The nightlife and casino fun is only a couple of miles away as well. Find yourself relaxing by the fire with hot cocoa or enjoying a glass of wine on the private patio deck!

The bedrooms create an ambiance of comfort and relaxtion with sleeping accommodations that consist of a queen bed and twin bunk. All beds are dressed with quality linens and stylish bedding. Both bedrooms are equipped with TVs, DVD players and ample closet space with hangers. Bath linens and basic toiletries provided.

Guests can also relax in an intimate living area doned with a 43' flat screen TV over a wood burning stove. Cable, stereo, free high speed wi-fi, and a kitchen furnished with basic appliances such as refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave and coffee pot to make your stay convenient. To make your Tahoe stay even more satisfying the kitchen is fitted with quality cooking utensils, up-dated glasses and dishes. There are enough place settings for 4.

The cabin also has a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. It also has a partially covered private wood deck with barbeque, patio-table with seating for six. BBQ tables and chairs are put away during the winter.

Other amenities include a ski closet/ storage room full of extra sleds, beach chairs, sand toys, ice chest, badminton set, basketballs, volleyballs, snow shovels and more to make your time even more memorable.

Parking is not an issue with a large round-about drive way and covered garage which would make room for a large RV or 2 cars.

This special place is just a five minute walk to the El Doraldo public beach which has a nice sandy beach and BBQ pits. Also available are stand up paddle board and other water craft rentals. A public golf course, dog park, frisbee golf course, public pool, ice rink, tennis courts, sand volleyball court, play ground, camp ground, library, bowling alley, resaraunts, lounges etc.. are all five minute walks away. Guests can walk one block to the free shuttle location to Heavenly Ski Resort.

About Andy Petersen

We currently reside in Lodi, California, where we are raising our two children. Both of us have fabulous memories coming to Tahoe as children and hope to help you establish memories as well.

We absolutely love Lake Tahoe and fell in love with the historic quiet woodsy Bijou neighborhood. It is walking distance to almost everything. Other than casinos and Heavenly ski resort a car is not needed!

What makes this cabin unique

Proximity is a unique benefit to this property. Lake, shopping, public pool, bowling alley, parks, golf course and more are all a five minute walk away or less. Great woodsy old style neighborhood creates a wonderful rustic old Lake Tahoe style setting, but close to all the Tahoe has to offer.

Cozy Family Friendly Home in a Great Location

This cozy home is in a great location and all the comforts of home. Its very clean, and well maintained. We loved that it was walking distance to the lake and close to some of our favorite restaurants. We were only there for a short visit so did not get a chance to enjoy some of the other activities nearby, bowling alley, ice-skating, etc. Safeway and gas station only a block away. The owners were very responsive and timely getting information to us. Renting this home was a great experience!!

This place was perfect for my husband and me. Cute and cozy with everything we needed. The kitchen is big so there was lots of room for cooking. It's a great neighborhood and walking distance to the lake. The perk was having a fireplace. We'll definitely go back!

Adorable Cottage close to Heavenly!

The cabin was really charming! It had all the amenities you could need -- cable, internet, ski locker -- and was clean and well-maintained. Located super close to Heavenly and downtown South Lake Tahoe. Dog friendly too! We would definitely stay there again -- highly recommended!
