Luxury studio on central park at park entrance in the best location in the city on columbus circle. Major subway hub is right there. 5 blocks from Lincoln Center, 5 blocks from Time Square, across street from Central Park and Time Warner mega shopping center with Whole Foods, and at a major subway hub.
Large studio on Central Park South.
Location perfect to be in the center of everything- can walk most places, into park, shopping in Time Warner. Unit is modern with modern furnishings. Very clean. LOTS OF LIGHT through huge windows that fully open. Full kitchen, separate dining area, sectional couch with 57 inch flat screen TV (recently upgraded) and Wi-Fi throughout the apartment. iron/hairdryer included. Spectacular view from all windows faces Central Park from a high floor as well as Building rooftop. Very very quiet apartment due to double paned windows (which fully extend out for full view). Many great restaurants within a few minutes of the building. See pictures. ask questions if you have any.
professionals couple. We keep things very clean (with the help of a weekly cleaning lady of course) and take amazing care of our home. Non-smoking, no pets.
PJ purchased this apartment in 2011
Location is perfectly situated to get to everywhere, and in the best part of town. Unit is spacious, comfortable, warm and inviting. And there is no better view from an apartment in the whole city. Building is very safe with 24 hour doormen.
The unit is an amazing home and you can spend days looking out at the view. Luxury doorman building - 3 doormen on hand at all times.
This lovely studio provided an ideal home away from home for our first NYC trip. Upon arrival, we took in the spectacular view of Central Park and the Upper East Side and Upper West Side skylines from our big windows on the 25th floor. Then we noticed all the things our gracious hosts had set out to make our stay comfortable: good towels, comfy sheets, easy instructions, toiletries, and a clean, cozy atmosphere. In the mornings, we'd again take in the view, go downstairs to the delicious French bakery for coffee and pastries, and then take off to explore the city which was easy with a subway stop a few paces down from the front door. Our hosts were accommodating and offered several spot-on recommendations for things to do and eat in the city. We enthusiastically recommend this central park studio!
A great location overlooking Central Park, near Columbus Circle subway hub and shops/restaurants. The apartment stay provided a more authentic experience in NYC vs. hotel stay. A few minutes walk to Times Square, the shopping/theaters and many other sites. My daughter and I loved the building and apartment, which was clean, well-kept and just as pictured. The 20th floor patio provided awesome views of the Park. Peter was a great resource, even taking the time to type up and email sites/restaurant recommendations for us. This was a last minute booking and he promptly returned my email the same night, taking time away from his mother's birthday party to discuss arrangements and answer my questions. He made the arrival and departure convenient to our schedule and was there to greet us and say goodbye. We always felt safe in and around the building at all times of day and night and the 24 hour doormen were very friendly. I will certainly contact Peter for future visits to NYC and have already recommended his apartment to family. Stay here and you will not be disappointed.
My sister and I were traveling to NYC from Maine to see a performance at Lincoln Center and wanted to also see a bit of the city while there. The location was PERFECT! Safe, secure, quiet, clean, welcoming and friendly doormen. Everything you could need. Whole Foods and shopping are just the other side of the circle. We rented bikes for Central Park! EXCELLENT trip!!! Highly recommended! Will stay here again next time in NYC!
I have to say it's the best rental I had in NY ever.
The view is the major attraction of this little apartment, it's amazing!
Location is also great, the subway is down the building, as well as a nice trendy restaurant (Marea), a nice wine shop, wholefood, pharmacy...
Peter gave me good advices to explore a neighborhood that I did not know.
I warmly recommend this place.
The apartment was exactly as advertised with large windows looking out onto Central Park. The location was excellent - Main Subway station, Whole foods grocery, coffee shops, nice restaurants and upscale shopping all within a short walk. Rock center, Lincoln center and Museum of National History were all within walking distance as well. The building had a 24 hr doorman, so we always felt secure. Kitchen was small, but you are in New York, so who needs to cook anyway. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone contemplating a visit.
