Weather permitting, a flock of the 'Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill' stops by at 3pm every day.

The views are spectacular from this building. Plus this property was one of the first rebuilt after the earthquake of 1906, and is a classic 'captains' house overlooking the entire San Francisco Bay.
This property is the perfect blend of the classic past existing in the buzz of all the tourist activities.

Our family of 4 stayed here for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. It was close to Fisherman's wharf, which we walked to most days (an easy stroll) - it is also close to other shops for groceries etc and less than a 5 minute walk to catch the cable car. For chocolate lovers, it is very close to Ghiradelli's famous chocolate shops, so we made that walk a number of times too! Tremendous views of Alcatraz, and the bay, from the living room. As some one who suffers from an allergy to cats, I appreciated the fact that the cats are kept out of the apartment, and we did not need to utilise the filter system that is installed. Rob and Laurie were exceptional hosts, and helped with pointing out things that might be of interest, where to buy tickets for attractions and helped arrange a suitable taxi when the original one that arrived would not fit us all in, and were always generous with their time. We'd be back in a flash.
What a beautiful historic home with the most amazing views I have ever seen! From the living room you can see Alcatraz and from the master bedroom you can see Coit Tower and the Bay Bridge. Close to the Pier and Fisherman's Wharf and close to public transportation. The garage was a wonderful bonus since we did not want to do any driving while we were there. Rob and Laurie were the greatest! They know the city and answered all of our questions. They went above and beyond helping us with a package that was not delivered to our home that we had to reroute to their home instead. Very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen is beautiful and well stocked and the little touches make this a very homey environment. The parrots were such a treat! We arrived at feeding time so they were lined up on the patio railing waiting for dinner. What beautiful birds they are. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a great time and the condo was as advertised... beautiful views and nicely appointed. My three children (8,9, and 13) had a great time and we loved the proximity to Fisherman's Wharf and cable cars. We had an extra special treat (!) the evening we arrived, we were woken up at 3:20 AM from the NAPA earthquake in August 2014! Can report that other than a little shaking and confusion (on my part) all was well. Be prepared to walk up a lot of stairs... not really a problem but luggage took effort.
We just returned from a really fantastic visit to SF. The city and weather were wonderful and Rob's apartment was truly perfect for my wife and myself and her 80 yr old parents. Yes there were a few stairs but it's SF after all. The location couldn't have been more perfect with the proximity to transit, the ocean, walks, restaurants, etc. Rob's place was clean, tidy and had all conveniences that we needed for our stay. The living room was a great place to chill and talk about our day and enjoy our dinner and evening. And the balcony with the gorgeous view, was the perfect place to have coffee in the morning while planning our day and for happy hour afterwards to unwind. Rob and Laurie couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. They were respectful of our privacy but were there to answer questions or provide advice if we needed to ask. All in all a fabulous stay, in a great pad, in a beautiful city. We would definitely recommend staying at Rob's to anyone and we will certainly stay here again the next time we come to SF.
Convenient to 5 Star rated Restaurant Gary Danko, other world class restaurants, Ghiradelli Square, and Fisherman's Wharf, Safeway, Walgreen's, and Trader Joe's. The Russian Hill neighborhood is quintessential San Francisco.... Cable Cars, chic boutiques, bistros, bars/nightlife, Victorian homes, and the world famous Lombard Street all within walking distance. Short one block walk to Cable Car and Muni bus routes (19, 30,47, 49).
