The location of this house was perfect for our family. The space is new and clean and the finishes (especially the floor tile) were well chosen. I admit I'm a bit of a design fanatic, so the crookedly hung pictures and art drove me bananas. The living area is comfortable during the day, but the space really needs some floor lamps and table lamps to add warmth and coziness when the sun goes down. The overhead lighting is just too harsh. The biggest complaint from our crew was the lack of a DVD player, which has probably been remedied by now because we asked about it when we were leaving. The beds were very comfortable and everyone slept incredibly soundly. The owners were staying upstairs while we were there which wasn't much of an issue for us, but if the sound of people walking around bothers you it may be something to inquire about (they only stay there a few months of the year). We ended up not using the kitchen much, but it was handy to have that option. Overall, we had a great visit and I would recommend the Kona Blue Hale.

We are always adding new decor and will take a look at adding some more lamps. We are only on the Island a few months of the year. It is our goal to provide a fantastic stay!
