We found our stay at Townsend Place to be terrifci. We are a family of four, with a 3-year old and a 1-year old. Our nanny also travelled with us. The unit was plenty spacious for all of us, the furniture of a high quality, and generally very well equipped for a family. We rented a pack n' play and high chair for our little one. The playground in the back was wonderful, even in the ice and snow! Easy walk into Beaver Creek village either along the main road, or behind the conds to the ski trail. Ski lockers were great though we stored our skis at the mountain. Wifi connection was generally good, and we were able to stream video to our computer. Beaver Creek is a great resort. The village is beautifully laid out and accessible. The ski school was phenomenal with our three year old. Vail quality skiing with a much less intimidating vibe. We will be back!
P.S. We had a rental car, which was great to get into Avon for groceries, restaurant, Walmart, etc., and drive to airport, but you could easily take a shuttle and do nicely without a car with BC's complementary bus service. Groceries in the village are very expensive, go to City Market in Avon.
