Comfortably warm and inviting getaway

Our stay at Black Bear Lodge made our vacation. It was comfortable, clean, tastefully decorated and had everything you could want for a ski vacation including condiments, soaps, detergents, etc. The owner was more than accommodating and so organized. Everything was clearly labeled so never a question what was what. I read some questionable reviews on the hot tub, but we used it daily and loved it. In fact, we met some very nice people and enjoyed socializing in it after our day of skiing or snowshoeing. Just a short walk across the street and you are at the West Wall Lift. The views of the mountain were better than expected as we watched the lifts start up every morning and the groomers lights at night. We were lucky as It snowed quite a bit for the first part of our trip and we thoroughly enjoyed using those days for snowshoeing. I almost think this condo was too comfortable as we found it hard to go out at night. I heard so much about the summers in Crested Butte that we will probably return this year or next and will definitely stay in this unit. Thank you Kristin for making our vacation so pleasant.

A quick note on the hot tub...thanks for bringing it up...the HOA spent a considerable amount of money last summer addressing all of the issues regarding the hot tub.
