Inside our condo you'll find a computer for your use, a 47' LCD TV with Netflix (paid for by us) and HBO. Beach gear includes chairs, umbrella, cooler, snorkel gear, boogie board and deluxe towels.
The kitchen is well equipped- everything you need to cook meals or make snacks. Our Cal King bed has gotten rave reviews from our guests.

Location, location, location.
As they say in Hawaii: 'Maui no ka oi' (Maui is the best). And Kaanapali beach is one of the nicest beaches in the world.
Im thankful that I was able to find and book this unit and would not hesitate to return. Renting from the owners was not a worry. We emailed back and forth and I had my questions answered and my worry about sending payment eliminated. The unit was exactly how described. They even had an assortment of books that you could pick from to enjoy at the beach. The beach chairs, mats and towels were all high quality and even had a great beach umbrella. These owners obviously outfitted their condo as if they would be staying in it. it would be difficult to get a better location than this one. So close to everything ( shopping/restaurants) yet quiet. We never had a problem with noise. One of the most beautiful beaches is right outside your door, no need to drive anywhere. Pack up the cooler and chairs, grab a book and go enjoy the perfect location for your holiday.
The location is perfectly convenient to enjoy Ka'anapali Beach and is smack dab in the middle of the patch of sand between the Hyatt and Black Rock. Whether you are a beach-goer, snorkeler, shopper, schmoozer, foodie, jogger, or whatever, you are steps away from the action. But that you can be a few steps away is also one of the best parts, when it's time for some rest, you just pop back into the air-conditioned oasis on the shady, third floor for some quiet time. Are there light sleepers in your party? No problem. The building is super quiet and you can hardly hear anything from suites around you. If you want to head out for the rest of Lahaina and West Maui it is really easy to get back out on the roads and explore the rest of the island.
It's all the little things too. Nice cutlery, properly sharp knives, spice rack, clean plates, nice towels, fresh linens, laundry soap, snorkel gear, beach cart (YES!), and a pile of other well thought out ideas from people who treat their guests like family. A step above the rest on everything. There's a Dyson vacuum in the closet for crying out loud!! As a fellow Dyson owner I can relate to settling for nothing but the best value. Highly recommended to anyone thinking of Maui.
The best part? Thanks for keeping the rates affordable for regular people instead of making Hawaii a playground for the rich and famous. Loved it.
This condo was perfect for our vacation. The description in the listing and pictures are accurate. The place is very clean and decorated nicely. It had a fully stocked kitchen and seasonings in the cupboard, perfect for marinating meat to grill. Every morning we made breakfast and ate on the balcony enjoying the warm weather and ocean view. The condo building had 3 commercial grade BBQ grills in the lawn area so we were able to make some meals to save some money.
The location of the condo is right next to The Whalers Village for easy access to shopping and dining and only a 5 minute walk to Black Rock for snorkeling. The condo itself is beach front property so it made going to the beach very convenient. Also viewing the sunsets from the beach each evening was wonderful. The unit itself faces the Whaler Village but the trees next to the unit gives privacy. Another bonus is that unit is close to the elevators, trash and laundry.
Doug, the owner was pleasant to deal with and answered all our questions in a timely manner. He (and probably his wife) paid a lot of attention to the details to ensure guests have a pleasant stay at their unit. Here are some of our favorite amenities in the unit:
* Huge bottle of Neutrogena Body Wash! We didn't have to ration the soap for a week and quality brand too.
* Computer with internet access
* Maui Revealed book (we actually forgot ours at home)
* Laundry detergent & dish washing soap (didn't have to estimate how much we might need or buy any of that stuff!)
* This is by far my fave ... the Cordless Dyson vacuum haha. This made picking up debris and sand daily very easy and fun!

We recently got married at Kaanapali Beach Hotel but decided to stay at Doug's condo since his rates are extemely competitive compared to the hotels. Everything was perfect, from setting up our stay to our departure. The beach gear was a plus since there is a fee the Whaler charges if you want to use theirs as well as the kitchen supplies since we love to cook! Unit was extremely clean and we loved the fact that we could literally walk to the beach without any issues.
Thank you Doug for everything, we will definitely stay here again!

We loved our romantic 25th anniversary trip here. Everything was in order, great location on the 3rd floor..walk or elevator right to best beach in America. Body surfing, snorkeling the reef, nice pool. Whaler's Village mall has it all! Jewelry stores for my wife, 3 great restaurants, wow the sunsets! Good live music at the Hula Grill next door, try the fruit plate! Parking underneath for your rental car and everything is close. Best vacation we ever had.
My husband and I had an amazing anniversary during our week stay at the Whaler and part of it was due to this condo. We loved making breakfast every morning and eating it on the lanai as well as home made dinners. We love to cook and found every necessary utensil in the unit. We also loved having netflix and spent most nights watching some shows. I agree that the unit is nicer in person and the bed was very comfortable. While the shower are could use some updating, that is a mute point. Oh and the big thing....we loved having use of the beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear, and boogie boards. We used them almost every day and while others were baking in the sun, we had our shady spot on the beach. This location cannot be beat either. We loved Snorkeling at Black Rock and having a handful of restaurants right by our place not to mention that the ABC store was right next to us....so convenient. In short, you can't go wrong with this unit or owners (who were great to work with). Thank you Doug and Elizabeth!
