Situated on the first floor in a 'Montmartois' building, French Kiss is a romantic and cozy hideaway located on in a cobble-stoned passage. The name of the apartment was inspired by Doisneau's 'Le Baiser de L'Hôtel de Ville', which you find prominently featured in the living room. Never was a more romantic image of Paris taken by one of the world's most renowned photographers. Other images of Paris that have circled the world are featured throughout the apartment. The apartment has been tastefully decorated to give you a feeling of calm and tranquillity even in the busy city of lights. The rooms overlook a small inner courtyard and large windows allow in plenty of natural light.
Living room, bedroom and bathroom are all off the entrance hall with the living room having its own door in case you might need to make use of the sofa bed for a third guest. You will admire the exposed original oak beams in the hall which is a trademark of some of the older buildings in Paris.
Apartment Location: The apartment is located in a romantic cobbled alleyway in arty Montmarte, which was immortalized by the artist Maurice Utrillo, and also appeared in the film 'Amelie'. Stairs on the street lead you to the Sacre Coeur cathedral, where you have one of the best views of Paris. The nearby Rue Poteau also has a local French market where you can buy fresh food products, as well as many specialty shops where you can buy everything from exotic teas and African & Asian foods, to fresh cheese and meat or just a slice of pizza. More exotic food finds can be purchased at the Chateau Rouge market (about 5 minutes away), Paris' most famous African market.

The apartment had absolutley everything that allowed for us to feel at home. We will definatley recommend this apartment and any others in the area to our friends back in Australia! The helpful staff met us at the appartment and showed us where everything was! Thanks again!

After more than 10 years abroad, I decided to come back to France and Paris where I was born. I really appreciate living again in Paris, city of light! I am the company manager and take care of the bookings, the check-in, check-out, manage the services proposed during our guests' stay and coordinate with the apartment owners... In Feels Like Home in Paris we have decided to offer you only cosy and comfortable apartments which all have the same services : iPhone for free, laptop, cable TV, wifi, international calls for free during your stay, a personal greeting on arrival, a full welcome basket...By greeting you, it is ike welcoming friends. So à bientôt à Paris!
We had a wonderful stay at French Kiss. It is certainly well equipped, comfortable and a great location.
We will definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to Paris.
I was very happy with the total experience of staying in the French Kiss. I can't say enough about how helpful the "Feels Like Home in Paris" staff were. The apartment was pleasant and very comfortable. The amenities of local phone and wifi were important and welcomed. All in all I had a very pleasant time. The proof of my degree of satisfaction is that I intend to book a rental with "Feels Like Home in Paris" in the near future!
Me and two friends stayed in French Kiss for 4 nights in October. It was our first time in Paris and the apartment was a great base from which to explore from.
The apartment had everything we could have asked for, and Montmartre is a great place to also explore.
We will definitely be recommending French Kiss to family and friends.
We stayed in the French kiss for a week. As with most European city apartments, it is quite compact, but has all the features you could want; a kitchen, combination washer/ dryer, cable TV, and high-speed internet. We were even given a laptop and iPhone which came in real handy with the map/ GPS feature around town.
The property manager was very nice and helpful. The location was very good, with just enough distance from the main street to be quiet most of the time, but close enough for a short walk to a couple of Metro stations, and Sacre Coeur. Overall, It helped make our stay in Paris quite enjoyable.
Had a great time staying at French Kiss. It was nice to have someone there to greet us and show us around the apartment. The iPhone that was provided was so handy in helping us get around Paris. I would definitely recommend it to friends or family going to Paris. If you're looking for a drink nearby we really liked L'Attrappe-Coeurs Bar just down the street. Great drinks and fantastic staff.
The French Kiss was perfect for our week stay in Paris. Perfectly located in Montmartre and five minutes from the Sacre Coeur. About five/ten minutes walk from the metro and some good local bars and boulangeries, not to mention a wealth of restaurants to choose from.
As we were beginning our honeymoon we chose to use the chauffeur service. We would recommend this service as it reduced the complication and potential stress of finding/queuing for a taxi and not knowing what the cost would be....not to mention the chauffeur could take us straight to the accommodation without any complications in finding it! The journey was made even more special when the chauffeur greeted us and had a red rose and chocolates waiting for us. A nice touch.
Even though the apartment is small, it is perfectly formed and was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was clean and tidy. The welcome basket was great and we really appreciated the bottle of champagne and rose petal display on the bed...another lovely touch for the beginning of our honeymoon (thanks again Stephanie!).
The bed was comfy and there was plenty of storage space for clothing etc.
The use of the MacBook and iPhone was excellent/ingenious and very useful for help in locating shops, services, attractions and general assistance for getting around Paris.
We found the whole process (from enquiring through to booking and finally to staying in the French Kiss) to be easy and friendly. We would highly recommend the French Kiss and if you love the Montmartre area, this will suit your needs very well. We would definitely stay in the French Kiss again and hope to do so in the future.

The apartment was on a quiet street in the Montmarte district. The furniture and bed were comfortable and suited our needs for a week's rental. The building itself was a little noisy with a wooden spiral staircase and thin walls between units. The area was convenient to three metro stations and many delicious restaurants. When you exit the building and turn right, a long staircase takes you up toward Sacre Couer--quite a workout, but worth the trip. Only drawback was that on a few warm days in May, there was no fan and little breeze in the windows. Would not recommend the location during the hot summer months.
Because it is on a small street, be aware that our taxi would not go up the street, but let us off at the end instead. Had to carry suitcases up the inclined street, then up a flight to the unit.
The apartment comes with a computer and iPhone which was very convenient, but the WiFi and TV service were often interrupted.
Washer/dryer unit was helpful, but European washing and drying take several hours, especially the drying, so be prepared to either take wet clothes to a local Laundromat or let them hang dry if you need to do laundry.
Grocery store, cheese shop, and fruit markets are all very convenient.
The area is very well connected in terms of transportation. Our metro stations are Chateau Rouge, Lamarck-Caulaincourt or Jules Joffrin, all within 5-10 minutes.
Bus 85 is a great bus route to use to get to the Luxembourg gardens, St Michel and Notre Dame. Line 80 just around the corner will get you all the way to the Eiffel Tower and Porte de Versailles (for the Parc des Expositions). Metro line 12 connects you to Place de la Concord where you can take a leisurely stroll to the Jardin de Tuileries to arrive at the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, and to the Solferino station where you can connect to the RER C taking your to Versailles. Line 4 at Chateau Rouge - though at times a rather busy line will whisk you to St Michel, Gare du Nord and Chatelet.
The apartment's placement also makes getting to the Sacre Coeur quick and easy. You are less than 2 minutes walk away (if you take the stairs in our street), from one of Paris' breathtaking monuments
