This was our 2nd time staying at this cabin and we loved it. The first time we fished the Manistee River and the 2nd time we skied Crystal Mountain which is only 10 minutes away. We had a great group of friends and everyone loved it. Plan to be back again in in Spring. Thank you Paula....
Loved this rental. The owners were a breeze to deal with and the house came with all the little extras you'd hope for. (i.e. foil, paper towel, spices, soap...) We've done this a few times now and I'd say it was our best experience to date.
We stayed in the summer, but I bet it would be awesome for snowmobilers or cross-country skiers. :) Would love to try it some day again.
My family and I descended upon the log cabin in Copemish, Michigan and I'm happy to say that this was a wonderful experience. The pictures that you see on here truly don't do it justice so my recommendation is; if you're even thinking about this place just go ahead and book it -you won't be sorry. We had 6 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room for each of us. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and utensils, the bathrooms had towels, and there was sufficient cleaning supplies to keep the place tidy.
If you need to have that perfect escape, be surrounded by serene, natural beauty and want to just get away from it all then this cabin is perfect for you. The one thing I was worried about was where to find the nearest grocery store to stock up on food. We went down the road about 4 miles to the Copemish Family Market and it had everything we needed. Right across the street was a small café where we had dinner one evening and breakfast one morning. We also stopped and had some ice cream there. You couldn't find nicer people.
When we wanted to venture out, we were only about 45 minutes away from Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park and Traverse City. About 9 miles down the road was the Crystal Mountain Resort Lodge. We went there one day to walk the grounds and have lunch at their restaurant. This cabin certainly has my vote and we look forward to coming back for a visit.
Beautiful home in a beautiful location. Everyone had a great time. Would love to go again!
The property and cabin were great for a ski weekend in northern Michigan! Very nice accomodations and the owners are great to work with.
Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful place!
The house was perfect for our two families and six children! The kids lOVED the bunk room and were entertained by all the amenities the place had to offer. The game closet and the hot tub were really a bonus! Everyone enjoyed the property itself-decks, privacy, land, room to move!
The owners were too notch! The communication was easy, and they offered up great directions and ideas!
Thanks again! We look forward to another visit to your get-away in the woods!
