Location: West Tisbury, Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, USA (Equidistant to Edgartown, Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven) View Map

Accommodations: House, 4 Bedrooms, 2.5+ Baths (Sleeps 10). 4WD vehicle available.

Even though our house is conveniently located to many of the Island towns, it is tucked away in a serene location overlooking the beautiful Coffin’s Field Land Trust. And because we know that ferry reservations can be problematic, we are making available our 4WD vehicle to ease this situation.

The main house is newly furnished with refinished wood floors, fully equipped kitchen and new appliances -- all the necessary and desirable amenities to make your vacation stay comfortable and enjoyable. Enjoy the quiet as you have your morning coffee on the south-facing deck of the main house, overlooking the 40-acre meadow. The main house has three bedrooms, accommodating 6 comfortably, and 1 ½ baths. There is a separate dining room and a sunroom with 40” flat screen TV, cable, WIFI and DVD player. There are fireplaces in both the LR and master BR.

The large studio apartment with generous kitchen above the two car garage is perfect for teens or a second family, with accommodations for 4, a full bath, and a south-facing second floor deck overlooking the meadow. Both main house and studio have convenient outside showers and washer/dryers.

It is a five minute drive from the house to the Long Point beach access road (or a 15 minute mountain bike trip through the meadow) and renters also have access to the very special Lamberts Cove beach on Vineyard Sound. We are also walking distance to the bike path. Rental includes use of gas grill, 2 kayaks, 5 bikes and beach stuff.

About The Owner

Two families from the DC area that have been best friends and Vineyard renters for decades just bought this home.

The Owner purchased this house in 2012
Why The Owner chose West Tisbury

We searched long and hard for a home large enough to accommodate us, designed to fit an active lifestyle and in a really special and private location, while being super convenient to all the major towns and the bike path. Long Point is our favorite ocean beach on the Island because it has great waves and an attached freshwater pond. Plus we (and you) have access to our favorite Bay beach - Lambert's Cove.

What makes this house unique

The view, the view, the view!! Plus, with a mountain bike or just on a long walk, you can reach the ocean at Long Point from the house by walking through the meadow on to the Watcha Path Ancient Way and from there to the sand road to Long Point Beach.
