Two bedroomed character cottage

Gledston cottage is located in the heart of the pretty North Oxfordshire village of North Newington, 3 miles from the centre of Banbury. Built in the early 1600's it is quirky and full of character with an enclosed south facing rear garden.

The accommodation consists of living room with exposed beams and a tiled floor. Two steps up to kitchen/ diner with wooden floor and door opening into small enclosed rear garden with garden furniture. First floor consists of a double bedroom with original wood floor an a shower room with toilet and basin. The second floor consists of a twin bedroom with wood floor and window overlooking garden.

My family and I had a really lovely stay at Gledston Cottage, I have two little girls 5 & 2 who thought the cottage was a magic fairy cottage with all the nooks and twisty staircases.

Very quaint, set in a really lovely area,

Very easy to access to the cotswold and other surrounding areas

What a treasure

Gledston Cottage is a real treasure! We spent a week in May there and enjoyed it very much! It´s perfectly located for day trips (to Oxford, Banbury, Stratford and many more)! But the most amazing thing at this place is the atmosphere, it´s so lovely and charming, you feel at home immediately! Fresh flowers and home made jam welcomed us on the kitchen table, the garden is cute and the rooms, each one in his very own special way, are decorated and furnished thoughtful and with love for details! The three of us (we travelled through South England with our little daughter, aged 18 months) enjoyed it very, very much, we will definitely come back!
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
