This beautiful white stucco fronted property is situated in the centre of London in the popular Pimlico Grid, 'St George,s Square'. The Apartment has been elegantly renovated. It has its own private Entrance Door, leading into a beautiful tiled hallway. The Sitting room has a large Bay Window. There are 2 Double Bedrooms, one with a King Size Bed and a newly fitted en suite shower room and toilet. The second bedroom has two single beds. The Bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with built in Television. The 2nd Bedroom leads out to a private paved patio area. There is also an independant Shower Room with W.C. The Apartment is conveniently serviced by a small shopping mall located in Dolphin Square where you can buy your emergency supplies, or take advantage of a quick meal out. It is also only a stones throw away from the amazing shopping experiences you can have in Sloane Square, Knightsbridge, Oxford Street among others, London's Theatre District.
Kitchen Facilities / Living Room: There is a fully fitted kitchen, which is well stocked with utensils, everything you could need for your stay. There is an Oven, Hob, Dishwasher, Fridge/freezer. The Kitchen also looks out over the patio terrace , so if you're inside, you need not be on your own and can participate in what's going on out in the garden. Barbeques are not allowed. There is a Washing Machine and Tumble dryer in the utility area for your use. The Living room is bright and airy. There are two deep and comfortable sofas with seating for 6 people. There is television and DVD facilities, with freeview television. There is also broadband internet access. We have a printer which you can connect your computer to, should you need too.
Places of Interest: The Apartment is situated in one of London's beautiful Garden Squares and is in a perfect location for seeing the whole of London. It has easy access to Public Transport, via Pimlico tube station, (5 mins walk), Victoria Station,(10 mins walk) which is serviced by Gatwick Airport (Gatwick Express) Stansted Airport has easy access via Tottenham Hale (Stansted Express train) and Tube to Pimlico Station. most places are only a taxi ride away. There are a number of Restaurants locally serving a wide variety of international cuisines. Within walking distance, most tastes are catered for. The 'Tate Britain' Musuem is a 10 minute walk from the Apartment. The 'Tate Modern' Museum and the ' London Eye', one of London's major tourist attractions is a boat ride away. The River Taxi, which you can pick up on the Embankment, can take you East to Canary Wharf, or West, towards Putney, Kew Gardens. Oyster Cards are the simplest way to get around London and are availabile at Pimlico tube station.
St Georges Square: St George's Square was originally laid out in 1839 as two parallel streets running north-south but by 1843 had been developed into a formal square, It is currently London's only residential square open to the River Thames. The Gardens are available for you to use, if you want to. They are well kept and is it is lovely, to buy your newspaper on a Sunday and find a quiet spot in the sunshine.

Four of us met in London for a week. We loved Una's apartment. Very modern and efficient with comfortable bedrooms and a nice living room to gather in. The bathrooms are quite small but, very top of the line with excellent hot water. The owner was super helpful and always available to answer questions. We will return!
My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teen boys) spent 13 nights in this lovely, we'll-appointed apartment. The apartment was sparkling clean, private and quiet. Bedrooms and sitting areas were nicely furnished and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The full sized washing machine and dryer were a tremendous convenience. This property is easy walking distance to the Pimlico tube station so it was easy to get to local London attractions. The owner could not have been nicer or more helpful. She consistently offered her assistance and followed-up with every request we made. She provided insight and information prior to our trip and during our stay. In addition, she provides a variety of helpful extras including Oyster cards for use during your stay and free WiFi. We would reserve this property again without hesitation and recommend it highly.
This garden apartment located in a very clean, and quiet part of London was a fantastic find! I am a frequent VRBO user and this was one of my best experiences. Una, the apartment owner, is a fantastic communicator so rest assured that everything will be handled. The apartment is comfortable, very clean, has 2 bedrooms/2 bath and a small kitchen which is perfect for a vacation stay. It also has a W/D which was great since we were traveling with a 12/9 year old. Apartment is off the Pimlico line which was convenient to get to anywhere we needed in Central London - we also walked out of the apartment to Buckingham, Westminster, etc. w/o even using it. The neighborhood is very residential so that does mean quiet which I love - there are a bit fewer options for markets, etc. but nothing that was an inconvenience. My only other comment would be that if you have mobility issues this may not be the apt for you since the staircase down is a bit narrow and twisted. All in all - a great find, great landlord, wifi provided, oyster cards to borrow and add $$, super clean and my deposit was even returned before I was back in the States! I would definitely rent again!!
Very pleasant, quiet and well equipped apartment, central location with underground in short walking distance, all sights are easy to reach.
The owner Una was most helpful and flexible; she arranged a pickup from the airport for us, provides food if requested, we could stay until the evening etc.

This apartment feels like home away from home, it is very comfortable and spacious and is just as the photos show. It's a basement apartment and as I was there on and off for several weeks into the summer it remained cool even when hot outside. Being close to the Thames there seems to be a cool breeze on most days. Though when I first arrived it was cold and the central heating worked very well once I understood the controls, which can be a challenge initially. The property was very clean and the kitchen was well enough equipped to cook, but with so many great restaurants in the area it's much more interesting to eat out. We can recommend Goya (tapas), OSole Mio (Italian), Seafresh for fish and chips towards Victoria. The owner Una was a wonderful help when arranging the booking and with following up during my stay, she goes out of her way to make sure everything goes smoothly, and with transport to and from the airport if needed. The location on St Georges Square is very "London" and close to Victoria and Westminster. The No 24 bus is great for sightseeing, it takes you right through Westminster, Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden for one swipe of your Oyster card, great value. The Pimlico tube station is very close also. I must also say the beds are very comfortable with fine linen and 2 bathrooms with thick fluffy white towels, so creating a feel of luxury. The apartment is also very secure one was concerned with safety. As I was in London for 3 months I also joined the Dolphin Square gym (around the corner) on a casual basis as there is an indoor swimming pool. I can recommend this property without hesitation.
After a long and frustrating search for London accommodation for my wife and I and two teenage sons (16 and 13) I came across this apartment. As this was my first time renting in this fashion I was quite cautious but Una was VERY helpful and trust was quickly established. The apartment is exactly as pictured and described and I can second all of the reviews posted to date. There is very easy access to major attractions in London as Victoria station is only one tube stop away. Oyster cards are provided to guests and are topped up on an honour system. Milk, water and cokes were in the fridge upon arrival and there are a number of convenience stores nearby as well as many restaurants (we found the Dolphin Square restaurant to be overpriced but the Pizza Express was excellent). As our visit coincided with a major cold snap, we found temperature control in the apartment to be an initial challenge but it was sorted out very quickly with the help of the owner. As another reviewer has noted, our deposit was also refunded to our bank account before we had left the UK. My only caution would be to older people or those with young children as the steps down to the door of the apartment are steep and narrow. Overall, the apartment was exactly what we were looking for in London. Una is very conscientious and supportive and I would not hesitate to rent this property or one of her other properties. As I told her when we left, my initial caution led me to be wary of all the consistent glowing reviews, but they are right and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The Apartment is situated in beautiful St. Georges Square in Central London, in the heart of the Pimlico Grid. You are 150 metres from the river Thames, and 5 mins to Pimlico Tube Station, (Victoria Line) 1 stop to Victoria Station and the Gatwick Express.There are lots of good Restaurants nearby,a comprehensive file of Restaurants and places to visit will be left for you in the Apartment. A car is not necessary. London's West End Shopping, Theatre Land, are all close by. The London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, Canary Wharf, Westminster Abbey, Kew Gardens. You can use the Thames River Boat service to take you to any of these places or alternatively use the London Underground or Buses. London Black Cabs pass frequently, and Private Cabs are available to hire.
