I moved to LA from the Midwest in the mid 1990s and have called LA 'home' ever since. Since 2001, I have bought, renovated and rented out historic LA homes and enjoy making your visit to LA memorable and enjoyable. I live in another house in the same neighborhood so I'm a moment away should you need anything at all. I love this home and this neighborhood and work in the area. Outside of caring for this house, I'm a Digital Entertainment Marketing executive and part-time UCLA Instructor. I love this vibrant city and know it inside and out; and I look forward to having you as my guest.

This property is a very special 1920's era duplex that captivated me with its charm, open layout, romantic balconies, wood floors, barrel ceilings and celebrity past. British glam-rock musician, Marc Bolan (T. Rex) lived in this home in the 1970s with his wife, Grammy nominated Gloria Jones - so this home has great vibes! She was the first singer to record the song, Tainted Love.
Completely renovated yet retains an old Hollywood glamour feel. Layout is very open for a 1920s era home. Very well appointed with 2 balconies and a spacious private back patio dedicated for this unit. You'll also have your own driveway for your car so parking is very convenient, just steps from your front door. You will be living in the entire 1800 sq. foot top floor. Extremely quiet and peaceful street. It's a refuge in the middle of bustling LA.
Don't waste time driving! This home is in the center of this very sprawling city so the location is perfect to visit all your destinations. If you're coming to LA for work purposes, this location is unbeatable; a convenient 25 minutes drive to Burbank studios, 15 minutes to Sony and Fox; 10 min to Hollywood; 25 min to LAX and is close to UCLA and USC.
Miracle mile district (also known as the Museum district) is minutes from Beverly Hills, Hancock Park, Hollywood and is just 15 minutes to downtown ( to the East), Hollywood hills (to the North) and Santa Monica/Venice beaches (West). Miracle Mile boasts world-class museums like LACMA, La Brea Tar Pits - George Page; great shopping on the world famous Melrose avenue, and a daily farmers market since the 1930s; the ever-popular Grove shopping complex. This district is known for its charming neighborhoods boasting 1920s Spanish and Art Deco architecture, evoking a mystique and glamour of Hollywood. Don't miss checking out the design district on La Brea and La Cienega boulevards (furniture and antiques).
