When i first saw this property it was love at first sight. The location is incredible and every day being here is a blessing.
The property is unique in that there are only a handful of houses on the north coast that are waterfront and have a dock.
I was a little hesitant about using VRBO and going blind to a house I hadn't seen before, but this cured me of that anxiety. It was fabulous. The house is a dream and completely well thought out. It was super clean, and everything in the house worked perfectly, the views were amazing and the whole vibe was exactly what we were looking for. Kitchen had every tool we could ever want. Stuart was great about getting anything else we needed and Linda was great about picking us up from the airport and helping us when our rental car wasn't the best. The only major supermarket on the island is a short drive away and that helped us really enjoy the amazing kitchen. The details in the house made it amazing--a sound system that let us listen to music while on the deck, an amazing grill we used every night to cook, and a very nice (and very quiet) neighborhood on the island.
For me is impossible to describe our experience at Villa karma. Everything was just perfect. I am home again and I wake up every day just thinking when I am gonna be able to return to this house.
The owners (Linda , and Stuart) are great people an the were always 100% available to give what ever we need.
My advice, dont ask anything, just pay and go to enojoy this georgeous house!
We just returned from an amazing week over New Year's at Villa Karma! House was perfect for the 6 of us, 4 adults and two young children. Wonderful views over the sea, enormous deck with large pool, perfect evenings grilling and dining under the stars! We have stayed in many villas on different islands in the Caribbean and Villa Karma is among the best! Linda was very helpful.. Meeting us at the airport, showed us to the grocery store and made sure we had everything we could need. Location is lovely, very quiet secluded spot.. Make sure you have a rental car to explore the rest of Antigua!
We stayed in this beautiful villa for 3 weeks with a family of 5. What an amazing time we had. Linda, the house manager was so helpful and accommodating. She always wanted to make sure we were happy and satisfied with every aspect of our trip. Constance, the housekeeper was such a sweet and hospitable person we absolutely loved her! Now, the house was spectacular. Gorgeous views, kitchen, pool, everything. The master bedroom is huge and loved the bali inspired décor everywhere. You definitely need a car to see all of the amazing sights, all the beaches and activities. We did everything and went around the entire island from Shirley heights down south, to stingray city on the east side, and all the different beaches in between. The house is in a perfect location just about a 5 minute drive to the grocery store. And very close to the capital St. John, but yet far enough away that you are in a very quiet and peaceful little neighborhood. Our family has traveled to many Caribbean islands in villas from homeaway, and this was definitely our favorite ! You can not describe the beauty of this island in enough words. We loved our trip and we would love to come back to villa karma! Thanks so much to everyone we met from there that made our trip that much more memorable! -Christa and the Petrillo family
My family and I stayed at Villa Karma for three days, and I must say it was not long enough. Linda, the Villa's manager was outstanding in her attention to detail, no request was too hard. Evening suppling my husbands favorite coffee.
The villa itself is stunning, with all windows and louvers providing just the right amount of breeze. It was the perfect size for 5, maybe even too big.
Our favorite section of the house was the private dock, and beautiful surrounding gardens.
Constance, the house keeper came every morning to make beds and do laundry, which is perfect if you have children as we do.
I highly recommend this villa and can't wait to go back.
The villa is situated at Boon's Point on the northwestern tip of the island. It is located in a private cul-de-sac next door to the Bluewaters Resort. It stands on atop of a thirty foot cliff on a rocky stretch of coastline which makes it almost inaccessible from the adjacent properties. A solid wooden stairway leads down to a private dock. Swimming access to the sea is not easy.
Once you have learned your way around the maze of largely unsigned roads access to restaurants, supermarkets, airport and St Johns is very convenient.
The villas main suite is spacious and the other two guest suites rather less so. The media room, living room, gazebo and pool-deck are all a good size but if you had a full house and guests you would be pushed for dining space. The pool is smallish but well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped and the BBQ is top quality.
The owners were anxious to please and quickly responded to minor requests; they wanted feedback on possible improvements.
We loved the villa and hope to return
