Nestled in the quaint residential area of downtown Huntington Beach, this four bedroom, two and a half bath home is the choice for groups, families or singles. No hassles, walking distance to all downtown activities, the pier, beach, shops, and restaurants.

A small village atmosphere, with eight miles of pristine beach featuring a boardwalk for biking or strolling. Pets will have an enjoyable experience at Doggie Beach, tucked below the bluffs just a half mile up from the "people" beach. The pier offers free fishing, or try your skill at seasonal grunion hunting (small fish run up on the beach at night to spawn).

As the sun begins to set, get ready to rock and roll or enjoy a relaxed dinner from many of our fine restaurants, or casually dine at one of the outdoor cafes.Take a romantic stroll down the boardwalk or catch a breathtaking sunset from the pier while gazing over the edge at some the world's finest surfers. Surfing classes are offered at the beach and rentals for many sports readily available.

Great Value - We always come back

After reading the previous review I had to write my own. We have rented this house several times over the past 6 years with another family. It is an INCREDIBLE location!!! We come to HB every summer and have rented some beautiful homes in the area for a much higher price (becuase this one was not available) This house needs updating and that is very true but for the price it is AWESOME. It has always been clean and the owner is wonderful. If you need granite countertops this is not the place for you, but if you location and comfort is what you want then you can not beat this property!

Avoid this rental property!!

The pictures on the website are nice but do not accurately show the true condition of this house. We paid a cleaning fee for a house that was FILTHY when we arrived. The floors were dirty, kitchen, fridge, counters were disgusting. The bathrooms were dirty with mold and mildew all over the bathtubs and showers. The back slider does not lock so you are not secure when you leave or at night. The garage does not lock and is accessible by anyone from the backyard. The whole place was very old and outdated and in serious need of fixing up. The "gas bbq" in the backyard did not even have a gas tank. The only thing good was the short walk to the beach. We would NEVER stay here again and would not recommend this place for anyone else. It was very disappointing.

Location, Location, Location

This house is a block and half to two blocks from the beach, pier and downtown. You never have to use your car. The house is not fancy but it is large and very comfortable for a large group. We had three kids and they all got their own bed. The house is stocked with lots of towels and stuff to head to the beach with. Natalie the owner is very sweet and helpful. Make sure and go check out the Surf Museum and have breakfast at the Sugar Shack. Sparks is a great place to have a cocktail and watch the sunset.

We had a wonderful time. Our children were able to walk to the beach without tiring which made things easy. The house was exactly as depicted in the photos. It is a wonderful location. There was construction going on next door at the time of our stay which was a bit loud at times, but not something that can be blamed on the owner. All in all it is a wonderful location that I would enjoy renting again.

Great location. Nice accomodations.

The locations is just a couple of blocks from all the excitement of Main St. And with little children, the walk was not bad at all. Also, the beach is just 2 blocks away. The place fit our entire family of 5 kids and 6 adults comfortably. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again.
