E Komo Mai (welcome) to Hale Bacopa on the beautiful east side of the Big Island. Hale Bacopa is named after the indigenous plant that grows here in fresh and brackish water. Not only does it make an excellent habitat for some Hawaiian waterfowl, it’s medicinal benefits prove (or so they say!) to assist in easing stress and the relaxation process.
And relax you will do when you stay here! Located in the sun belt of the east side, you will enjoy incredible ocean views AND wonderful trade winds from what is considered the “cleanest air on the planet”. You are only about a 10 minute walk from the famed Kehena Black Sand Beach (clothing optional!). Just only about a 10 minute drive down the famous Red Road is Uncle Robert’s. A GREAT place to go on Wednesday nights. Lots of local food and entertainment!!
This beautifully decorated home has been designed and embraces the indoor/outdoor lifestyle that we are about here. Hale Bacopa is located at the end of a dead end street which gives you that perfect private space. Uniquely designed in several hales (homes), Hale Bacopa easily sleeps up to 6 people. The main hale with its full size kitchen and dining room has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The master bedroom upstairs with its own en-suite bath has a gorgeous ocean view and private lanai.
Across the path is the huge open “gathering place” living area with generous seating, another dining table, TV and a gorgeous bedroom/sleeping area.
There are actually 2 outdoor garden showers with both hot and cold water on the grounds of Hale Bacopa. There is another one right off of the main hale.
The kitchen is large and modern. There is TV through DISH Satellite and Wireless Internet. Hale Bacopa is the perfect blend of east side old Hawaii feel with modern conveniences.
