2 Bedrooms, Set In Tropical Setting, Tranquil In Costa Rica!

New two bedroom casita in Costa Rica is 1 1/2 hours from the airport in San Jose, 10 minutes from Jaco (great surfing and beaches), 5 minutes from Los Suenos marina and golf course, and 1 hour from the beautiful national park Manuel Antonio and 30 minutes to Carrera National Park, a fabulous spot for birding. A zip line is just up the road from us. In the town of Herradura are restaurants with inexpensive, typical Costa Rican food. It is five minutes to the main highway where there is a brand new shopping center with an American type grocery store. In nearby Jaco there is a farmer's market weekly.

Buses are how most Costa Ricans travel. It would be possible to use buses, but you'd have to walk to the stop on the main highway, which is a ways, as our casita is outside of town, dead ending in the jungle. We rent cars when we stay in Costa Rica.

Our casita is one in a small development of 13 homes outside the charming, friendly town of Herradura. There is a small pool available for use and 24/7 security. We have seen toucans, macaws, hummingbirds, sloth, and more on the property. We can connect you with the best birder in Costa Rica, if birding is your thing. We can point you to Costa Rican typical meals or delicious international cuisine, in Los Suenos and elsewhere. Beautiful setting. Truly a Costa Rican experience!
