HOLIDAY APARTMENT IN DALAMAN

Très bel appartement situé dans un complexe très bien équipe avec une belle piscine. L'endroit et les allentours sont très beaux climat typique du sud de la Turquie.
Les plages voisines sont vraiment splendides et les sites à visiter à proximité très nombreux et intéressants.

Je vous conseille la plage de Iztuzu à côté de Dalyan un village très pittoresque.
Nous avons été accueillis par Michael le propriétaire, une très charmante personne et toujours très serviable.

Je vous recommande cet location elle vaut vraiment la peine.

What a fantastic holiday. Apartment was better than described, clean and spacious. Michael and Janet were very helpful and met us on arrival. A few basics were provided tea, coffee etc.

The complex itself is excellent. Lovely pool and also a small shop on site along with a bar and restuarant. As mentioned in other reviews, there is a bus which operates from the site that will take you to various locations for a few Lira. Some trips are free.

Botanic is well located if you want to explore the Turquoise Coast and are willing to hire a car and drive. We did this and spent most evenings in either Gocek or Dalyan. Both towns have plenty of restuarants, shops and bars. If you want to change Stirling to Turkish Lira then I recommend the Post Office in Dalyan. You will get good exchange rates there.

As a family of four we hired a private boat with a guide at Dalyan for 100TL which will take you to Turtle Beach where you can feed turtles in the lagoon. This is a must do.

Other places to visit are Salikent Gorge. This was my favorite place. It's like a small Grand Canyon. You walk along the river taking in the magnificent scenery. We hired a guide but you can save money by just following everyone else. However, be prepared to get wet and you will need decent footwear as it is rocky in the river.

Other places to visit are Fethyie, Oludeniz & Marmaris. Most towns have market days. Excellent for fresh fruit and fake designer goods if that's what you are into.

Overall this was an excellent holiday. However, for me you need a car. There is not much to do at night as there isn't anything within walking distance. There are local restuarants that will pick you and drop you back to the complex. If all you want is a relaxing time around the pool then this is for you.

I recommend hiring a car and touring the turquoise coast. It's a beautiful place.

We stayed at Botanic gardens for 3 weeks and had a fantastic time. Michael and Janet were superb hosts: they arranged airport transfers, greeted us on arrival (even though it was quite late), cleaned the apartment thoroughly each week, and were on hand for any queries. The apartment was exactly as advertised- very clean, with everything we needed. The complex was lovely and ideal for families. Many people staying there were owners and they were friendly and helpful, letting us know the best restaurants, car hire companies etc. The complex is on the outskirts of Dalaman, but with the free shuttle bus and the complimentary taxis from restaurants there is no need to hire a car. We used the shuttle to go to the beach, supermarket and local markets. We did hire a car and our favorite trips were to Saklikent Gorge (this is not to be missed), Toparlar waterfall and Dalyan. I would recommend staying here and no doubt we will be back. For younger families it is an extremely safe environment and there were children of all ages to befriend when we were there. However, if you have older teenagers who want some nightlife they'll probably find it too quiet.
