Hi Everybody,

My name is Milagros Shorter, the new owner of Villa Laguna.

I came to San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua in August,2012 to look for a home. The moment I walked into Villa Laguna, I felt in love when I saw the beautiful fountain, and the elegant structure. I knew this would be the perfect holiday home for my family. I love this place because it is beautiful and secure.

Villa Laguna has an amazing view and is the perfect home to share a holiday with your family and friends.

Beautiful House

We stayed at the house for 7 days in April of this year. The house is large and clean with stunning views. I'd have to say the pool was our favorite part of the place....it's large and the swim-up bar was great! The staff who came to the house to clean and landscape were very friendly, and did a great job. You will need to either rent a car or hire a car/driver as it's not practical to walk to town from here. We hired a car & driver and had wonderful service. The rental agency in town that you get the keys, etc from were very friendly and helpful if we ever had any questions. The owner was very responsive and we had no issues with our stay or getting our deposit returned. I'd definitely stay here again!

We stayed at this beautiful house for few days.The house is beautiful, the view even better. All of the pictures and information on the website are accurate - the house is very comfortable and the views are spectacular, we had plenty of room in the house and a nice private pool.
We highly recommend this home and location. We had a wonderful holiday.

nice...but be careful

This a a very comfortable well appointed home.
We stayed for a month in January.
While the ad states it is a short distance from town, don't even think of walking.
It is on a very dusty unpaved road that is used by fast moving trucks going to and from the surf beaches farther North. If you were to walk to town you would be filthy on arrival.
It is essential to rent a car and preferably an SUV (about $100/day) as the terrain is rugged and the climb from the gate to the house is very steep.
Read your rental agreement carefully watching for frivolous surcharge not reflected in the stated rental rate. ***
