Wellness and spa in the garden of the Villa:
At the top of the list is Brenners Park Hotel. Its spa is known as number 1 in Europe. Apart from this, some other hotels offer their spa facilities. The public thermaes of the city Caracalla Spa as well as the Roman-Irish Frederic Spa top the offer. Now it’s up to you to choose who may regale you. The garden of the Villa Annenstein has approx. 1000 sqm and can also be used.
Swimming pool and bathing lakes:
Baden-Baden itself has 2 public swimming pools. One of it has a crazy toboggan, the other one, which has also an indoor swimming pool, is rather quite and therefore more suitable for smaller children and older people. Moreover, within the Rhine area, there are a lot of bathing lakes. These lakes are partly economised. Just ask us if you wish further information.
Climbing at the Battert - balloning:
It is the climbing paradise in Germany. The rock which surrounds the old castle offers you climbing facilities. Course with different skills are provided. If you rather would like to see the world from the bird’s view then you should fly in a balloon of Baden-Baden Balloning, make a helicopter’s license or a sightseeing flight. Just make use of the closeness of the regional airport with its offers.
Ski:
Even by bus you can reach the slopes of the Black Forest in only 20 – 25 minutes. For example the “Mehliskopf Slope”. If there is snow, you can ski and snowboard until March. There is a separate toboggan run. Furthermore Baden – Baden offers a wide cross-country ski slope which runs deeply into the Black Forest. So it is ideal for cross-country skiers.
Golf:
Within near distance you can find 3 golf courses. Golf club Baden-Baden. The next golf course is only 1 km away from Vill aAnnenstein and can easily be reached with the public bus. It is one of the most beautiful courses in Germany and you will experience incredible views. Golf Club Baden-Hills is in the Rhine area, near the airport Baden – Baden/Karlsruhe. The spacious 18-hole golf course can also be played well by moving handicapped people. Another golf course is directly behind the border at the French side. Golf Club Soufflenheim is not just an excellent golf course; it is also well-known for its superb service by mister Wehlauer.
