The backyard is enormous and has numerous spots for sunning, if you choose, as well as a large shaded patio and grassy area. Dine outdoors at the large patio table which seats 6 and includes a large umbrella if you need shade as you dine.
The home is furnished in a mid-century modern yet comfortable style and features original artwork throughout. The main house has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and is finished with extensive use of marble, granite and travertine. The master has a king bed, full walk in closet, door to pool and backyard. The en suite master bath has marble throughout and includes a soaking tub, dual sinks and vanities, a shower and steam shower plus a private wash closet.
The queen bedroom has a double closet with built in shelving, dual reading lamps and a beautiful mountain view. The third bedroom has a king bed and a lovely leather couch and sitting area with stunning mountain views. All beds have 300+ thread count sheets and memory foam toppers for that perfect night's sleep.
The casita adjacent to the pool includes a queen sleeper, full travertine step in shower, large closet, 2 sinks with granite countertop and lounge/sleeping area with its own television and beautiful mountain views. A ceiling fan and separate heating and air conditioning system keep the casita delightfully cool.
The kitchen and great room offer numerous places to gather together or just relax. An enormous 20 foot granite counter has four bar stools for a casual meal or for conversing during meal preparation. The living area has a 42 inch flat panel, HDTV. There is also an Ipod dock for your favorite music.
The kitchen is very well stocked with all stainless appliances, a deep farm sink, all clad pots and pans, waffle iron, french press, melita, large wine storage, cocktail shaker, blender and so much more to make your vacation meal and drink preparation easy and enjoyable. We have also provided many herbs, spices and condiments to make cooking easier.
The inside and outdoor dining tables can seat six. There is a another seating area in the living room with a sofa and two modern occasional chairs and then finally a very large, luxurious leather sectional for relaxing, watching movies or TV.
The front and back patios have exquisite views and shaded areas and ceiling fans for keeping cool.
The home stays deliciously cool on warm days with an evaporative cooler or air conditioning and there are ceiling fans in every room. On cool desert nights you can cozy up to the fire on the front patio and view the magnificent San Jacinto mountains.
Minutes from the tram to the top of Mt. San Jacinto and downtown Palm Springs by car or the 2 bikes we have available. You can get out and hike and bike in the natural beauty, eat at fabulous restaurants or you may just want to stay in and relax, relax, relax. We have crafted an oasis for your complete enjoyment.
